  1. Yup a little fire in the belly goes a long way.. some players to stardom, me to the bathroom.

  2. He was invisible. What about the scoring chance on the 2 on 1 where he was robbed by Mrazek and then bowled him over. What about the play he set up on the powerplay. What about his other scoring chance in the second period. He actually had a pretty strong game, with weak linemates tonight. 14 points in his last 20 games...

  3. Did he do shots before or after the game?

  4. Considering the train wreck that last season was, it's pretty remarkable that this group was able to put that behind them and win the division. Price didn't have to be a Hart winner, Weber didn't have to be a Norris winner, Galchenyuk was injured for awhile, Plekanec and Gallagher were invisible and Therrien got fired....but yet they still persevered. I am thinking these guys are a team to be reckoned with in the playoffs.

  6. The Kadri example was excellent; some players need to have a simpler and more effective gameplan beaten into them over time, and I have faith that Julien will make him see that he HAS to change his game to reach his potential. I think when he sees how much money his stubborn refusal to stop dipsy-doodling and just shoot the damn puck is going to cost him on his upcoming contract, he will be highly motivated to change going forward.

  7. What the hell is Galchenyuk supposed to do with Steve Ott and Andreas Martinson as linemates? If either of those guys got a breakaway pass from Galchenyuk, they'd probably dump it in the corner and try to grind out a goal.

  8. Most of the season?? Most of the season?? That was the part i objected to, cause its 100% wrong.

  9. I think some here are overreacting about Chucky! He's still young, only 23 years old. Look at Kadri in Toronto... took him 7 years to become a dominant forward (he's 25 now). Imagine Chucky two years from now! Patience gentlemen, patience!

  10. Agreed ...its pointless to argue. when someone needs to reference words like "dumb", "making things up' . "reaching"...not to mention the not-so-subtle references to my limited brain capacity - it's starting to get old...lol. But like you i really want Galchenyuk to do well...when he scored last night, we (me and the 3 buddies i was watching the game with) all spontaneously applauded #27. Genuinely happy he was the one who scored.---> and we all are hoping he comes out flying in the playoffs.

  11. Coach has a ring, has been around the block a time or two, is highly paid, is called a top coach by all the talking heads and vast majority here also. So gotta assume if he plays Galchenyuk sparingly in playoff game or two, that he has a good reason or two for it. And I assume he thinks the team will win if he does so.
