  1. Do you really want that bum to be allowed to make another move??? His two free agent dmen were -2 against the worst team in the league. Alzner has been a pylon. Meanwhile Sergechev has more points and goals than Drouin and Weber

  3. The only scenario where I would be happy with finishing in the cave is drafting Dahlin AND to sign UFA John Tavares on July 1st.

  4. I’ve seen this horror film before. Team stinks it up a bit, fan base semi embraces the idea that we would be ok or better off trading the best goalie in the league. He leaves. Goes on to win a cup the same year. Thanks but no thanks.

  6. Sergachev is playing 13 minutes a game, with heavy offensive zone starts, and plenty of time with Stamkos and Kucherov who are on pace for 140-150 points this year

  7. Some of Lindgren's issues in the AHL have crept up tonight - his rebound control and positioning have both been pretty shaky for the most part. He did make a big save on Keller at least that helped lead to the Morrow goal. Nice set play off the draw on Weber's goal to allow the Habs to come out of the period without their tail completely between their legs.

  8. Bruins to the left of me, Red Wings to the right, here I am, stuck in the middle with Drou(in)?

  10. Well, now in 26th place with more games played than other bottom feeders, leads to 7.5% chance of making playoffs. Just a bad team and looking like another lost season.

  11. 1) When healthy he will start. 2) Unclear, concussions are a bitch. He'll be in the #2 role when he's healthy. Until he's healthy, Niemi is the #2. 3) Lindgren. #1 til price is healthy. Back to Laval when Price is healthy. He has 1 year of pro experience. He needs to play. 4) see above 5) He will never live up to the draft position. He is behind McNiven as a prospect right now.

  12. I disagree. I think dlblair was correct yesterday when he said that they won't have him on the bench as the backup. They will call him up when Price needs a rest and there is a start to be had, but they won't leave him on the bench as a backup. Better to play in the AHL and get called up as needed, then to sit on the bench. He's a 23-year-old in his second pro season. He needs to be on the ice.

  13. Dumb, Carr earned the spot. Especially since Lehkonen is the guy hurt.
