Exactly. Who cares what players make in absolute terms? The only thing we should care about is how much a player makes as a % of the cap hit. I find a lot of the time there is confusion between these two issues, with fans acting all shocked that Player X got Y amount of dollars, without factoring in rising cap ceilings.
