15 teams will miss the playoffs, just this season... big deal. 1 team ever, suffered a loss, to an Emergency backup goaltender (Scott Foster was not credited with the win in his game a couple years ago)..... and thats the Leafs. I'm laughing at every Leaf fan I know.

I only said Winnipeg because of how much their dcore over changed in the off season. I am sure theirs other teams going through injuries on D and still over coming them. Toronto is another team that has key injuries to their D , they're still in the playoff race. Columbus is another team who's gone through injuries and yet still in the playoff race. I am just so tired and over the injuries excuse with this team. Every year that we're out of a playoff spot its because of injuries(give me a break!).

Winnipeg lost 4 top Defenseman this year , and they're in a playoff spot. Why because depth and upgrades. Don't make excuses for having the same Dcore as last year and seeing the same results.

Yeah its helps 5 years from now if these picks turn out to be valuable NHL players. But it doesn't help the team now or the next 2-3 years.

Its call DEPTH, in which habs have none especially on D both on the NHL team and in the system for NHL ready prospects.

This just goes to show how weak our depth is on D. Where's everyone back in October that was arguing that our D was fine 🤔

I don't feel right cheering🍻 for a tank when everyone else is on board.
