Makes me wonder how the heck Pacioretty has scored 30+ goals over the last 5 years playing with no center. Then it makes me drool just thinking of what a line of Pacioretty/tavares/Drouin can do together.

Like I been saying for some time on here this year, its a retool not a rebuild. No need to trade those guys if you're not rebuilding. Bergevin is putting all his hopes in the fact that he can sign tavares July 1st. If he can't I can see him then trading Pacioretty.

Thats what's happens when you're a team that realize on goaltending to hide your weaknesses. He thinks a healthy Price and we are a playoff team. As long as theres Price as our safety net there will never be a rebuild always retool.

If they don't trade Pacioretty today that tells me its a retooling not rebuild.

Its because this organization builds there team around goaltending to hide there weaknesses. They believe as long as we get great goaltending then everything else will fall in place. But if you don't get the goaltending then these weaknesses are unmasked. Its no surprise that the years that we have been bad are the years we have had problems in net.

I think everything changed when we got Drouin. The French media appointed the home town boy the next captain. So they have been extra hard on Pacioretty because of it.

I know he has one year left, just saying i think he's check himself out. Don't know if he will want to resign

This organization has a history of not trading veteran players and holding on to them way to long. As a result they don't resign them and the play signs else once they hit the open market. Will Plekenec be any different????? Kovalev , koivu , Markov, radulov, gionta just to name some names.
