Just don't understand why people want to sign washed up players and/or players we traded away because it didn't work out here. I would just rather let a rookie play his way into the line up then give it to someone who 's been cut because they can't play at a high level anymore or a player we traded away because there was issues here.

I agree but what he has done is upgrade the team. Something he hasn't done in what 5 years. No more plug In's like usual. Allen upgrade on back up, Edmundson, Romanov upgrade on D, Anderson upgrade on size up front. We still need to address the power play and add some scoring depth. I always said if a GM goes out and trys everything he can to improve his team i will back him. But if a GM does nothing and the samethings keep happening and the team keeps missing the playoffs. I will never back him. With that said I like what he has done this off season to improve the team. Lets see what happens in free agency. I hope he isn't done and adds a scorer or at least scoring depth to this team.

Yeah he gets a pass with the media and French fans because he's French and from Montreal. You think Hall or Hoffman would get that same pass? I think not.

For the money and term i would stay away from Hoffman and Hall . They will get eaten alive in Montreal if they disappear on the ice like they tend to do at times.

They traded for Anderson not to be a bottom 6 but a top 6 player. Which means they will give him every opportunity to play on the 1st or 2nd line. If Drouin is going to play with Suzuki, they will need some size on that line which is why I put Anderson on their line.

Our line up as of right now Drouin / Suzuki / Anderson Tatar / Danault / Gallagher Lehkonen / Kotkaniemi / Armia Hudon / Evans / Byron Extra -- Weal / Poehling Chiarot / Weber Romanov / Petry Edmundson / Kulak Extra--- Mete Price Allen So this is what we're looking at come spring training. Does Bergevin add to this or is he pretty much done. i am hoping he adds Dadonov to the mix. He would look good on that 3rd line Dadonov / Kotkaniemi / Armia Then 4th line would be Lehkonen / Evans / Byron Pretty much all 4 lines can score .

Well that was a boring draft day. Would of thought their world be more trades. Well bring on free agency.
