IF i were him, id want out at some point as well... we didnt make the playoffs 5 out of the last 7 years. Thats sad and i feel bad for koivu.

Everyone is exaggerating about the last game.... that game would have been won if it wasnt for colaiacovo or wtv his name is lucky goal, that is what completely demoralized the habs and did it for them. I saw the end of the game at that moment. Everyone felt it im sure. It's definitely sad to be beat by a shitty lucky goal! but toronto has always have more luck then us.

Were not makin the playoffs... were losing to toronto saturday night. its pretty much what i thought all week long.

with BOB not making a trade, this shows to his team that he still has faith in them! i beleive we can make the playboffs with the team we have right now... and now that the team realises bob gainey also believes that, theyre going to play even better!! just wait and see...

On TSN ice chips or whatever, it is reported that koivu and samsonov are going to be out of the lineup tonight due to the flu. Its not reported anywhere else, and i dont see why they would send Milroy and Kostitsyn down if this was true. Just letting ppl know that its been reported. Dont think its true though! hopefully not! I just noticed now actually that Habsinsideout.com has mentioned it as well refering to TSN.

This is stupid... Koivu is a captain. get over it. we go through a bad moment and u blame everything on the captain!? right... good solution! sort of like firing the coach right? lets do that 2? cuz we have fired a coach nearly every year.... maybe we should start getting a new captain every year!! man thats a genius idea... dunno why i didnt think about it before? new captains every year everyone!!! problem solved!

Apparently Kovalev has had an upper body injury for most of the season... maybe were just unlucky and got him when hes always injured.

This is ridiculous... Huet is the #1 goalie and it should stay like that. The players leaving him out to dry is what started his mediocre play... i said it in the beginning of the season and ill say it again, in order for Huet to play well and get his confidence back, he has to play more than 1 game a week. Stop playing Abby, Huet is the #1 goalie.

Its not the coaches fault.... how do u go from being one of the top teams in the league, to the worst. Not because of the coaches thats for sure... lack of effort by the whole team and mostly by its veterans... i say bench ryder, kovalev, get rid of downey, murray... bring back gabrovski, kostitsyn... put sammy back, and see what happens... i say we dump some of our veteran players and let the rookies play! WHOSE WITH MEEE!!!!

not much positives for me really... id be happy if we were 4th and worked hard every night... but the fact that were 4th and work hard 30% of the time, just makes me angry, cuz we could do much better. I dont understand how ppl can keep saying were still in 4th place... does anyobody else realise were 4 points ahead of the 9th spot... and anyone else see were still in a slump, playing barely .500... and that every other team is on a hot streak, including the toronto maple leafs... if we keep playing like this, were out of the playoffs, and there is no positives.

When u look at the last few wins that aebischer got, the team played well infront of him! and the last games Huet has played, they were horrible. The last 2 goals against us vs islanders were give away in our zones, no goalie likes to see that. The point is that our team can play better, were not getting outplayed by other teams, were just not putting in the effort and not working for it at all. If i was Huet or Abby, i wouldnt be motivated either when ur team gives no effort.

Habs are too unpredictable! so im just going to cross my fingers and say GO HABS GO!

The rumors i hear about Forsberg coming to montreal have nothing to do with our current roster in the NHL... which leads me to believe that if the trade does happen, its going to be draft picks, and prospects... and i have a feeling Grabovski is in the mix somewhere....

I just believe its a lack of confidence... its only normal for a team to lose its confidence when ur in a slump, if confidence wasnt a factor in hockey, teams like buffalo or anaheim would never lose... but look at buffalo right now, even theyre losing, and thats because at some point in the season you lose confidence due to a loss, injure or wtv other factor isnt apparent to the public. The team will get out of the slump, hopefully sooner tthan later.
