  1. Another no call. Just hammered down a habs no where near the puck right in front of the ref, no call. These refs are crap.
  2. Crap.. sucks to cough up a goal with 6 seconds to go (was tipped, not Huet's fault). They best come out flying in the third.
  3. I don't mind them calling the habs on these, but why does buffalo get away with holding, hooking and tripping.....
  4. Why does Ribs (our PP specialist) not get any PP time and Zednik does? Ok, this reffing official sucks. Soft calls on Boullion and Komi and they let Buffalo hook all over the place......
  5. LOL, according to Neale, the NHL and Team Canada breathed a sigh of relief when McCabe came back..... Neale should be on comedy central....
  6. If McCabe is out, bring on Phaneuf (yikes, butchered that spelling). Although McCabe has lots of points, I think he is a liability.
  7. It was tough picking between Bonk and Zed, but at the end of the day I figured that Bonk is the big money player who was going to finally add some offensive depth to this team. So far he has only managed the big money part. Zed is dissapointing but I had a bad feeling about him anyway. As far as I am concerned, Ryder replaces him on this team. Time to deal him. Ribs has struggles, but he is still 4th in points and I have hope for him in the long run, so I am only mildly dissapointed in him. I didn't expect anything from Sunny and so far, he is delivering.
  8. Theo doesn't suck, and two games does not make a career. Let's not get carried away. Theo is playing terrible lately, but he has done plenty for this org and deserves some respect and some time to work on his play. Huet is playing great right now and has earned more starts. I hope he keeps on this streak and I have no problem playing him until he falls apart. That said, I hope when he hits a bad patch we remember how he played this weekend and not call for his head. Overall, best game I have seen from this bunch in ages. I think the biggest difference is they are playing a puck possession, forechecking game rather then that crap trap. The trap takes all the speed out of both teams and speed is suppose to be our advantage. I hope Gainey keeps them playing this way.
  9. One thing I like about Ribs, Kovy, and Perez.... They sure draw a lot of penalties. And I don't mean just this game. All season long they have had a way of drawing penalties. Probably because they make moves on guys that result in hooks and holds.
  10. LOL...Souray finally hits the net. Maybe he was shooting too close before.
  11. Nice play by Ribs on that goal too. About time someone stood in front of the net.
  12. I kind of like them with Ribs in the middle. Interesting experiment anyway.
  13. Wow... Souray played the body and the guy didn't just waltz around him. Perhaps he is learning....
  14. The habs have had a few scoring chances at least, but with all the penalties it is pretty hard to get an offensive game going. I will say the Bruins hit way better then the habs. Their D don't play the puck, they play the man, which is why we are not getting nearly as many shots.
  15. We would be fine if only we could make the D lineup... Markov Markov Markov Markov Markov Markov

Lets be realistic. People miss Hossa, saying he does not give his all, but he is a better player.... Well, what about ribs Dags. They have way more points then Hossa, yet they are considered crap on this board. Just because we dumped a guy who then gets 13 - 20 points in the next season, does not make it a bad move. Hossa is a poor excuse for a hockey player and we are better off without him. If he was on the team we would be even softer then we are now and people would be calling for his head. Now I am happy Yanic is having a great season, but that was hardly predictable. Again, he would not be the answer for the habs and on this team, he might be struggling. Who knows. It is easy to look at trades in hindsight and question them, but that is unfair. Look at Bonk for Garon. That looked like a bloody steal. We were not really playing Garon, hence he did not contribute much. Bonk looked like a decent number 2 center and we were going to use him on the 3rd line! Wow, actual scoring from our third line. Most people were pretty excited. Who knows, Bonk might get his act together and be a decent player for the next two years and we will all be happy to have him. Maybe not, but at the time of the trade, it was a good move. Even Kovalev was an exciting acquistion. Finally a true skill player on the team. Oh the excitement... then he stuggles. Who knows what the future brings. There are people who would never like Jagr because he was soft, lazy, and selfish. Yet, this season he is awesome. Who knew? No one knew. That is the beauty of sport.
  17. Yes, the penalties hurt them, but they were outplayed 5 on 5 most of the game. I am not sure why you think the Habs won on even strength. Other then a few minutes at the end, they were hardly in the Boston zone. Also, the penalties were a direct result of poor play 5 on 5.
  18. Its like the wizard of oz... no hearts, no brains, and no courage.
  19. I am starting to think a Nolan or rent a player is needed just to shake this team up. Too many guys are just not competing. If I hear one more of them talk about "working hard" I am going to choke. Don't talk about it... DO IT!
  20. More accurately, it is not "ALL" Theo's fault. He has lost some games all by himself, but the team works pretty hard to lose games too.
  21. Cote is looking good and Souray is at least looking good offensively. Other then that this team completely sucks. Sure Boston has played better lately, but they are getting totally out skated, out shot, and out played. Boston deserves to win this one since they are the only ones that showed up.
