Philly awfullly need Gagné and Carter scoring touch to win games Even more so Boston sophomore players are getting in the playoff groove. Wheeler, Lucic and Krejci are playing good hockey right now. Right until this serie this team was relying on "sign a pact with Swann" Mark Recchi. A Stanley cup finale with San Jose and Boston would hurt so much i wouln't watch. But this morning it smells like this, unless it's the farmer across the field dropping cow sh*t on the ground. Go Habs Go, Go Hawks Go. This would be my dream finale.

One of the wonderous part of this win is that they have done it without using three players. We win with the best players and that is a very good thing. But having passengers on board doesn't help at all. Some players will get very tired if 4th line players don't cut some slack by giving at least 8 good minutes of hockey. I felt bad for two player last night. Gionta and Plek. Gio gave all he could, using his body, drive the net. Nobody else done that, just the smallest guy in town did it. Still nothing from Pouliot, Cammelleri. Even if he didn't buried a goal Andrei K. was ok. But these two up there need to be switched lines. It's the only thing that could ignite choker 13. Thanks guys. If it takes two years to develop him as a 3th or 4th line so be it. With thehabs i feeled he missed hockey IQ. He has all the physical tools, now he has to learn a role. I've seen two names that come back more and more, Weber and Conboy. Weber was lost at the camp and it took 60 games to see him blossom again. Olympics were a good experinece for him. Conboy, well he has the shape to do something. Not easy to push around. If he can learn positionning and discipline he can be a 4th line body.

How is Paccioretti game ? I mean we see the stats, but we have no scouting reports Almost every players via stats are beyond expectations. Except MaxPac. He's been hurt yeah but he plays now and has little stats to show for. Is he in a complete slump for an offensive player or is he performing ok in a defensive role. My guess is that he they are developing him as a third line winger. Or he is simply another bust.

Very effective work by Montreal 3-4th lien against Philly and Buffalo. Markov defensive play is at his best right now. Plek and Gomez are effective centers defensively too. You see we're i am going at...the two top lines can't score goals and PP totally stinks. Majour point there is shooters have to get it in. Pouliot , Cammelleri and Andrei K especially.

One prediction can be easily made. Cammelleri will join Gomez and Gionta real soon. If not tonight. Pouliot and Cammelleri are not prodcing something has to happpen offensively....NOW!! Defensively, keep 4 lines of forward and please keep Spacek out of line up. Bergeron stinks defensively but for the whole mission itself he is miles ahead of two faces Spacek. Go Jaro.

In another time line, Subban replaced Spacek suffering from continuous major brain farts and is currently a Calder candidate. The habs clinched their spot for playoffs yesterday and Q government reduced taxes of 2%.

One thing that they really need is to get Cammelleri on a scoring pace. If he doesn't score goals on crucial times at this time of his career than he is always be a big gun in a team that make no or little playoffs. People talk much of goaltenders but we all know this is not the problem with this team. The problem is getting the killer goal and it's been all year. We need a guy to score GWG and elavate his game, the only guy that can give more and do that his Cammelleri, so Mike ....STEP UP !!

It's sad and it ain't gonna be better next year. So it's playoff or burst even if it's for 4 games. They are still in the run and it's the habs they bounce back when you don't expect them to. Next game against Philly they will have no excuse not to score they have no goalie, so there no maple leaf summer yet.

Yes this is how it became when Montreal fans had nobody to hate but their own team. It started when Quebec lost it's NHL team, the media couldn't have stories like they use to so, so the focus of the whole Montreal crowd is on the players, management even the owners. No rivals to hate, so the only thing left to blame for not winning is itself. Plus, the town itself degraded, nothing new for 38 years, no new big project, the town became stagnant, all they wish for is something that would excite them again, like a Stanley Cup. .

One word about Booth, with all we know about concussions. Why did the Panthers kept him in the line up with 0 chance of making the playoffs. He pushed to come back, risked another concussion by fighting Richards, and the Panthers sank to make the playoffs anyway, so why not give him the season off and see you back in great shape next year ?? Now he is at risk for every hit to lose ground and sky for 6 years.

When Metropolit is your best goal scorer on PP you have a problem with one time shots. And concerning Moen if indeed he comes back for Florida game i can't wait to see his playoff face. On the same team you have pretty face Lapierre, well over the game floating around and on the other side you a guy with 50 stiches near the eye, a nose that been broken many time that digs it in the corners, wins most of his puck battle but will not be able to fight for Lapierre when he will cheap shot someone and hide behind Markov.

The big surprise there was that the Rags did not show for that game. They were at home, they didn't work hard, Gaborik was totally flat and they took stupid penalties.

He is there because no prospect in the eye of the coach and GM won an NHL spot in a season plagued with injuries and young players having the chance to proove themselves failed to impress. I am not overhyped or impress by his play, he is just a depth player in the mould that Martin like. I find it pretty bad long term that no prospect forward rushed out of his shell this year, and really hope Paccioretty bounces back next year, or we just have to have band aid solutions like Moore.
