  1. Mike Komisarek empty net goal against Minnesota, great calculation of rebound.... or more seriously i would say Higgins goal for it's amazing speed. Miss you Higgins bit don't rush it we need you for a long post season.
  2. I asked Pronger wife and she said NO. Anywhere except Canada.
  3. Look closely at Huet eyes that says it all. No way you gonna beat me, i am back and shut you down. Win 3-0
  4. Simply put he lost all confidence on the ice. What he showed last year as now disappeared. He is better of play lots in AHL and come back as he was. But for now i just can't stand him.
  5. Just hoping that he could light a fire under his brother to do the same in AHL. I have a feeling that they will never play together in Montreal.
  6. Not that we were the better team on paper but that we had so many young break throught players and some inspiring coaches that we could do better and better as the season advance. Now we have better results a t the beginning that i expected, i expected some transition difficulties and then unbeattable at the end. So with such a good start the critics will go on as soon as they play 50-50 average. Expectation are now high and they have to stand up to that.
  7. We don't miss Claude Julien in fact if he was not coaching Devils right now alot of people would not remmeber who was coaching the Habs before Bob did last year. Julien has not been able to stop the total slump late november, december january slump last year. Behind the bench we now have leaders, people who hates to lose. Sure we'll go into small slumps but warriors do always come back. Thats what we want that what we have. Enough of Julien crap go Habs go...
  8. Are you sure that Murray will play ?? Last game was awful, 2 penalties and he scored one in our goal. I looked everywhere and thre is nowhere mentionning that we will have the same line up. I think Downey should get a chance tonight. He brings far more energy.
  9. I usually try to see within the organisation before seeking somewhere else. So we need a center that respond to what coaches Carbo, Muller and Jarvis ask for Heart, dedication, strongness with a scoring touch. Does Locke has all those tools? Strongness??. Lapierre works like a horse get send up and down and never complaints. Chipchura has the complete package he would have the same points with the same ice time in the NHL. And another player who i would rather have than Murray is Duncan Milroy. Lapierre-Bégin and Milroy would give us more depht at the NHL level for years to come.
  10. In the last game Minnesota outshooted Ottawa 44/21 or so and still lost against Ottawa. So it seems that Fernandez is in a bad streak. I wish for a big game from Markov and fellow Russians. Go Habs go.
  11. Move Ninimaa to the wing...not that fool Kozed, i prefer that to Dandenault checking role on the 4ht line because we need that right D at his position. Ninimaa his extremely fast and since he is kinda strong he would be tough to remove the puck from at the opposite end, better than Murray actually.
  12. Allison was too slow and overweight last year, sucked 5 on five. All his points came from PP by passing the puck to defense. He has never been a team player. Far from a diamond in the rough i woul say a rock in the bottom of the ocean.
  13. Not that strannge, they think Bouillon can play tomorrow then we have too many players on the team. So you don't want to loose anybody for free, we can't lose Kots if we send him down. Until we are sure Dandenault and Bouillon are back for real. We can't trade Ninimaa. So he is the one that will see time from upstairs. After two or three games i expect a trade involving a left defenseman that we traded in to get rid of Ribeiro. Maybe Steven Reinprecht from Phoenix could be our fix, heard his shoulder is ok and Perrault is doing really fine replacing him.
  14. They would bring Halak because they would not risk to lose him on waivers. Except if we want to lose Danis on waivers.
  15. To other teams, now keep your head up!! I am just glad happy that other team wingers will have to keep their head up coming on right side against left side defense. Souray is always backing to make sure he desn't get coffee shop, Streit and Markov always play the puck and Ninimaa ???. So the first winger to shift looking down will be lay off by Bouillon. And will keep guard. The same thing as they fear Komisarek on the other side. Happy Happy joy joy
  16. I am not sick of it i love it. Every two games or so we have a different match up. The otherteams must be annoyed to face two different styles of goalies. So they cannot always use the same pattern to try scoring goals. With Huet the other team usually are trying to move the puck faster in front of the net and then cgarge the goalie. With Aebisher they throw pucks and wish for easy returns. But when the defense is used to pick up returns he is a puzzle to score agaisnt. Except from long shots.
  17. As for Ryder giving bad giveaways, just look at the top net goal last night. A hot streak is coming from him. Michael is not rewarded for his implication physically this year. Leading body checks and improving is overall game. I think that Carbonneau will give Kots a real chance on the first line before letting him with Plex until somebody hurts. Basicly i think he is there to stay.
  18. What i think is the key to second line success is the power play. Koivu usually get Markov and Souray as quaterback. Most of the time he wins draws or hiswingers work to keep the puck in the zone. They give the puck to MArkov and move in front of the net. Kovalev gets Rivet and Streit as quaterbacks. He loses draws his wingers don't fight the puck and they claer the zone. I say use Kovalev at quaterpoint on the second PP. With Bonk, Johnson and Samsonov.
  19. Amazing saves from Huet and another slow start. Turning points (2) - Souray fire bullets on PP, the second goal would never been that strong without the awesome Markov pass. - Ryder hustling at the Lighting blue line to keep it in at 8:03 3 period and forcing a penalty that allowed us to have the two goal lead.
  20. Look for him to score when we really need one in. Don't expext 50 goals expect the win.
  21. Dandenault will be paired with Ninimaa until Bouillon is back. Bouillon did not had a spring training, he will have to go to Hamilton to regain form i guess he will be back november 22 after home Manitoba game, he should play first game against Buffalo november 24. Once Bouillon and Dandenault are back. So now talk cap money. Bouillon will have misses 20 games.1/4 of 1.875$ less than 500 000$. So showcase Ninimaa hope he does good with Dandy and as soon as we are sure Bouillon is ok get rid of Ninimaa hald salary 1 250 000$.
  22. The biggest difference from last year is that we have a unity in the team that creates rebounds from losses. We did not lose two in a row yet, it will happen but we have leaders, two solid goaltenders and we played well even if we had some injuries to key defensemen and our scoring leader.
  23. Yeah and trade Ryder because he did not score in the last few games ??? Our only legitimate 40 goal scorer. This year he is a more comlpete package, he is working hard in corners, he is not losing puck at the blue line, he hits a lot more creating space for Koivu and Higgins Latendrese to dump goals. That way he is less predictable. Eventually he will get in a scoring drift. Look at the games, he is now playing PK sometimes. So when Higgins is back somebody else will be inhjured. So we will need him badly. As bad as we need Ryder.
  24. The no-win at the bllue line is that they made the wrong choices. Keeping Chara and Pothier would have been the solution. Havlat and Smolinski for Tom Preissing and Josh Hennesy was horrible. At least they could deal directly with San Jose for Toskala. Anyway it is good to see them losing. This is not a hockey town, there was a couple hunded Montreal fan and that's what all we were hearing last night...Guy guy...Huet..Winnipeg truly deserves more a hockey team.
  25. First of all see who's masterpiece missing. Devries: Still doing a nice job in Atalnta for 2.052 000 Chara : Redden makes 6.5 a year Pothier: Logging 27:32 minutes a game with Washingtin Havlat : Was leading NHL before getting hurt 6 000 000$ Hossa : Currentr leading scorer of NHL $$ 4 500 000 Heatley against 6 000 000 for Hossa Hasek :8 w 3l this year So after all even if he log points Heatley will never be a leader. Nobody is there to clear the net like Chara did. Redden is always hurt mentally and physically Devries and Pothierare much better than Corvo and Preissing. Havlat would have been the star of that team if they let him the chance. Hossa actually makes too much money for them. Hasek vs Gerber 750 000$ vs 3 700 000$. Jacques Martin is way much a better coach than Murray. Muckler actually looks like a senator and should go in the other basement just downtown and leave the job to new blood.
