  1. 39-33-10, 88 points, 3rd in division, 7th in East, 15th in NHL
  2. In case anyone was curious, I went with the 1915 CA jersey, just as I did for game 7 vs WSH. Guess I have found my game 7 jersey! GO HABS GO!!!
  3. Ok guys, some of you will think this is a bit silly, but I know damn well many of you get as crazy with your superstitions come playoff time as myself!! Anyway, during these playoffs I have been wearing all of my jerseys with varying amounts of 'success' but the one that stands out is the 1912 Barber pole jersey; that's right, the one widely derided by fans. The Habs are 4-0 in these playoffs when i wear it; seems an easy choice, but as a general rule I have been careful not to wear it in back-to-back games ( I wore it for game 6), for fear of abusing it's power (or something like that!). The other choice is the 1915-16 CA jersey, which I only wore once, and that was for Game 7 against the Caps. Thoughts?! (other than my need for psychiatric help) haha GO HABS GO!!!
  4. isn't there still at least one game left to play?? threads like this...
  5. Actually, only one of the games against Philly has to go to OT. Philly is one point back, and have one win more than the Habs.
  6. Which, if any Habs can we expect to see back in the lineup when we resume play on Tuesday??
  7. so if the Molson boys buy the team, will the Bell Centre revert back to the Molson Centre in name? Not that it's important, but although I don't like any of the corporate names, few are as bland as Bell.
  8. It's like what they say about college football, and it applies to the Habs: whats the best thing about college football? The fans. What's the worst thing about college football? The fans...
  9. Being someone who lives in the Boston market, I was looking forward to having the opportunity to watch the game on Versus, a presumably 'neutral' broadcast, rather than having to watch on NESN, clearly the single most 'homer' oriented broadcast team in the NHL, but it seems I might as well be watching on NESN; nothing but Broooooon rumb-swabbery of the highest order all throughout the pregame and first period. Makes me sick....and will make them sick as well; they keep this up much longer they'll need thier stomachs pumped....
  10. Last time I made an appearance on this board it was good for a 4 game win streak- just what we need now! Go Habs Go!!
  11. No love for the Bowie avatar?! Making my first appearance of the season out of necessity! Hey, it worked, I guess that's all that matters....and yeah, Yvonne is a bit sexier!
  12. The return of the thin white duke.....have not posted on here all season long; like to observe. But times are desperate and desperate times calls for superstition. Who the hell knows if Price is up for the challenge, but I agree if we're going to make the playoffs, we have to ride Price in because he gives us the potential for the best chance at winning in the playoffs. That said, it starts tonight- Lehtonin if I am not mistakjen has shut us out the last 2 games he has faced us. I'd like to say we turn the tables, but not quite- 3-1 Habs, Price plays well, defence tightens up, surrendering under 30 shots for the first time in......well you get the idea. I'm not about to call the scorers. That's all.

  14. Of course he'll tell them, question is will they respond?? I sense a tight, low scoring, goaltenders stealing the show. Repeat of '04 Game 7. Habs 2, Broons 0. Kovalev, Begin (EN)
  15. Difficult not to draw comparisons to the 2004 series; that said, have the Habs ever blown a 3-1 playoff lead?? Anybody know?
