I'd be shocked if MB decided to "stand pat." He looked incredibly frustrated during the playoffs and obviously saw the Canadiens are missing a couple pieces. I expect a couple trades and a couple signings. As for the hole on D... gotta bring somebody in. Emelin being out for the first half dictates the need for another body. Tinordi is ready to be the 5 or 6 guy right now, so add a 3 or 4 to replace Emelin and gain depth when he is back. I could see potential targets being D.Murray (Pitt) or R.Hainsey(Winn) for D. I wouldn't mind going after Franson (Tor) who is a RFA...

Doesnt matter who plays net.. give 25+ minutes to Chucky and Gally, play Subban until he drops and NEVER let up. My lines: Gally - Pleks - Galchenyuk Bourque - Halpern - Patches Armstrong - DD - Ryder Moen - Dumont - Weber Subban Tinordi Markov Gorges Boullion Diaz Use Weber on the 4th line as a puck mover... get it out and get to the bench so the kids can play Use Halpern on the 2nd ... win Faceoffs and get Bourque the puck. Pair Subban with Tinordi... they both have played with heart.
