I think it was Jeff O’Neil who said it, but Toronto built a regular season team and Montreal built a playoff team. How many Presidents Trophy winners win the Cup? I don’t think there’s a GM out there that had a better off-season. The Canadiens have a legit shot at being a final four team, contend for the cup. What more can you ask for?
