It's a horrible system. It rewards teams for losing, by letting bad teams into the playoffs. The season already extend well into June, which is silly. If the NHL goes to this system, I will cry.

Tough draw for the US. They'll be lucky to get out of the group stage. Perhaps they should hope for draws against Italy and the Czech Republic and a win over Ghana.

Silly article. Does the author expect the Canadiens to play with only 15 skaters so that the farm can have a full 18? That's just silly. The AHL is around to develop talent, not necessarily to win games.

Reds traded Sean Casey for some no-name pitcher from the Pirates, not even a young prospect. I've been a Reds fan all my life, but this horrible move by the awful management of that team is the last straw. It's time for me to find a new team, one that is smart enough to keep its best player and team leader around, rather than making room for prospects such as Wily Mo Pena, the WORST outsfielder I've seen in my life.

I'm fine if a more deserving goalie makes the team and lets Theo spend some time with his family over the break.
