  1. Well in case you guys didn't know by now, Brisebois won't be playing tomorrow, maybe not saturday either because he has a groind pull...Souray will be back in the lineup on friday and depending how he feels he should play saturday too...i say this because he's missed the last 17 games and playing games on back to back nights with a small travel route in between is tough for anyone...so there's a possibility he might sit out saturday's game...that's if ofcourse he feels a little more tired than usual...so good news, and Komisarek will be playing both games most likely...Julien better not play that slut dykhuis ever again...i was extremely pissed off when he played him instead of Komisarek on a few occassions. As far as Brisebois goes...he still has two more years left on his contract at the end of this season...so he's gonna be sticking around for a while longer. Which isn't very good news for guys like Hainsey and Beauchemin, who both could be ready for NHL action next year. But you can't take out Souray, Markov, Rivet, Komisarek, Bouillon and Brisebois without trading one of them. Souray and Komisarek are the two untouchables as far as defenseman go. So we probably won't be seeing Hainsey or Beauchemin as regulars for at least a couple of years.
  2. Thank god Souray is playing tomorrow because if i see Karl Dykhuis (lesbianhouse) in the lineup ever again...my head is going to explode...he is absolutely useless...no offense, poor defense...not even remotely physical for a guy who is 6'3" 215lbs...all he's doing is taking up a roster spot in hamilton and ######ing the progression of guys like Hainsey and Beauchemin who have been playing excellent hockey in the last few months in Hamilton. if anybody should be the 8th defenseman on this team, it's Beauchemin. Tomorrow's game is gonna be tough, much like saturday's will...it'll be nice to see Souray back in the lineup for we have missed him for oh so long...especially on the pk. Ward should be good to go, he had a mild case of the flu on tuesday and seeing as how the team was playing, why put him in...so i'd be surprised if he didn't play...especially with Juneau and Langdon staying here in MTL.
  3. To my surprise the power play since Souray went down has still been deadly...and now with Souray's return on friday(or saturday), it's going to be unstoppable. We have two of the best playmakers in the league up front with Ribeiro and Koivu, two snipers on each side with Ryder and Zednik, the best point man in the NHL for forwards in Kovalev...and i don't even need to mention the presence of Souray and the nuclear missile he possesses for a shot...so much attention will be brought to Souray that it's going to leave Kovalev and others wide open to score some goals on the PP. Julien has a problem on his hands though, who's gonna be booted from the first PP line...Ryder? Zednik?Koivu? Ribeiro?...whoever it is, it's gonna give us two efficient power play units. Which brings me to my question, with Souray's return, and the addition of Kovalev, which team could possibly have a better power play than the :hlogo:? You could say Colorado, but i would take Souray over Blake any day of the week... Teams should now realize that if they take a penalty against the Habs in the playoffs...they are royally screwed!!! Which in turn will reduce the aggressiveness of opposing teams on our players knowing that our power play can cause so much damage. Props to Julien and Gainey for a job well done!
  4. I think as Souray comes back and the season goes along, you're gonna see Julien rest some of his defenseman that had to play extra minutes when Souray went down. Look for him to rotate Quintal, Brisebois, Rivet and so on as healthy scratches till the playoffs roll along so they can be fresh for the playoffs...and obviously Komisarek will step in to replace whoever's turn it is to rest. Now when the playoffs roll along, Komisarek will unfortunately be the odd man out, but it's great to see him play so well lately and having him as a reserve in case someone gets hurt in the playoffs is also great to know. GO HABS GO!!!:que:
  5. Yeah, he says he would do it again...meaning he would cross-check Koivu again if he had the chance...he's damn lucky that Souray wasn't there...coz it seems that every time someone even breathes on Saku they get a beating of a lifetime from Souray...just ask Sean O'donnell...and Matt Cooke who went flying into the boards after elbowing Koivu in the face in that great physical game in Vancouver a couple of months ago. Yes, if McCabe says he would do it again, how bout taking on the Big Z, Zdeno Chara again....that was the funniest thing i've seen all year.
  6. With the possible return of Jan Bulis tonight(most likely tuesday vs. Colorado), who will get the bump from the third line to make room for Bulis? My guess would be Jason Ward, because Begin and Dowd have developped a great chemistry together and Bulis is too good of a player to be on the 4th line. Ward will obviously bump Dackell out of the lineup and complete a trio with Langdon and Juneau for the moment.:/)
  7. Yes! it is time to show these old farts who's boss!!! Begin, Komisarek and Franky Boo will throw some huge hits tonight to put these geezers out of their misery!!!!:-^ My prediction: 4-2 habs(empty netter):hlogo: Goals by: Begin Kovalev Markov Ryder Theo will be awesome as usual, and Langdon will beat the crap out of Domi!!! GO HABS GO!!!!:hlogo::que:
