Sigh, not a fan of Martin keeping Gomez with Andrei and Eller with the poor performance they put up last night but maybe it's chance that Martin is willing to give to those 3 to step up. We'll see. Also not happy about the Darche injury because he is the most underrated player on the habs IMO. But hopefully, things pan out. Go habs go.

I wonder how Andrei will do. He's scored in his last 2 games and playing with Desharnais and Darche could be good. Andrei's the sniper set up by Desharnais and Darche goes to the net. I like this line.

I'd like to see ma homie G back in the lineup, but I don't think that will happen. It may take an injury or bad games by either Spacek or Weber (just a prediction on my part) for PK to return. I think he should have been benched in the first place since the edmonton game was the only bad game he has had. The only saving grace is that Weber is finally playing well defensively and can show that he could be a part of the team in the future.

Ok, now I don't see this happening, but because the habs have games in back to back days (Wednesday and thursday), I wouldn't mind seeing Auld in net against the oilers and give Price the nod against the devils. If it doesn't happen, I can live with the decision made.

I've been wanting Tom Pyatt out of the lineup for far too long because of that reason and he is terrible offensively. We've seen Dustin Boyd kill penalties when he was playing. He deserves another chance. Gionta has killed penalties as well.

I honestly wish Boyd was playing so he can stick it to the preds for not giving him a chance. I'd want Pyatt out if that's the case because I cannot stand his play in the offensive zone. But since it's not the case, I'll just have to live with it.

I wouldn't mind seeing Ryan White again either. He was good in the pre-season and didn't back down from anyone. Plus I hate Tom Pyatt. He's good in the defensive zone but when he's got the puck, or is trying to play offense, he drives me crazy. Makes me wish Dustin Boyd gets another chance as well.

2 headed monster with Weber. Yes, he's got good offensive skills but he's a modern day Andy Delmore. In other words, terrible defensively. And once Markov went down, the team tried Cammalleri on the point which could be interesting. But I guess we shall see what happens.

I'm just glad we've got people that are ready to step in should someone go down or retire. Picard may not put up the numbers that Markov does, but he's done a good job back there. Just remember that Spacek, Hamrlik and Gill don't have too many years left so it's good to have Picard playing now and in the future, Tinordi should be ready and Gauthier could either make a move or have Mathieu Carle. Until Weber gets better defensively, I don't want him on the team and I think he's a modern day Andy Delmore. But there is still time for him to improve.
