Wow. What is going on here? Sutton gets 5 games for hitting Landeskog and Wolski gets nothing for the Alfredsson hit?
I have been all for Shanny so far but I think he really messed up on this one.
Wolski should have got something in my opinion..

There's something universal about Jacque Martin's being hanged in effigy during the slump. He's probably quite innocent. He's probably been doing mostly the right things for most of the year and yet we're all set to howl and hound him.
I find it laughable that there are so many posts on here about firing Martin.
Its like a ritual. How long have you guys been Habs fans? you should know the drill..

If you are upset about missing Habs games don't worry, you haven't missed any good hockey so far..

It's only been 8 games. When the Habs turn this around ( and they will ) all the fire Martin rhetoric will seem just as ridiculous as it did last year.
When I watch the games it appears that we have lots of scoring chances but no luck.
This team is solid.

its not like Jaques Martin can prevent all these injuries, I don't think he's 'lost the room'
We've lost a handful of games at the farthest point from the playoff race.. and people want blood already?

I have a feeling the Boston and Philly games will be more free-wheeling track meets rather than low scoring goon-a-thons.

Every team has to deal with injuries.
Every team has stretches of bad games.
People are taking abut firing the coach after less than 10 games?

You know, I actually don't mind this story line.
I wouldn't be heartbroken (or surprised) if we lost the next 3 games.
I think the darker things get in the next week the more it will help our players in the long run.
Nobody is going to do it for them. There is no silver bullet.
The Habs need to become a TEAM.
Its not like they haven't been playing hard or quit on their coach (at the moment)
We just need some confidence and a few god damned bounces to go our way..
I agree with being 'proactive' vs 'comatose' re: managing the team, but I think the argument can go both ways..
Lets give our boys the benefit of the doubt for now and see if they can't come together to overcome this adversity.
Of course if we are in 12th place in the East after the All-Star break, Fire JM, trade Pleks and Cammy, drop Gomez off at the glue factory and build for 2013.....

Sometimes a little adversity is great to help bring some cohesiveness. Of course I want the Habs to win but the guys are not playing well and I almost think losing will do us some good long term. This group needs to be beat up a bit more before they 'bounce back'. I think its going to get worse before it gets better and that is ok by me..

The Habs really let me down, but I did call LA Kings in the final.
The crystal ball is a little tarnished, I could have sworn it was Carey holding the trophies but Jon Q is a handsome dark haired lad too so you can see how the mistake was made.
