  1. Seems about 35-40 kids per draft have solid careers (300gms+) https://dobberprospects.com/2020/05/16/nhl-draft-pick-probabilities/
  2. Yep, agree. Excellent player... thats about it isnt it? Does he give back in Quebec? I dunno, may be he is a nice person, but who wins that series dont really care, Isles maybe i pull for but not because of the coach.
  3. Yup, i suppose, is what gambling addicts think also i assume.
  4. Eiserman & Cole Hutson (2nd/3rd rounder) will be 2 to watch from USA U-18
  5. They have him at 81st, so a NHL long shot depth player am assuming. 81. Aatos Koivu, C — TPS (U20 SM-Sarja) Anni Karvinen – Aatos Koivu is a strong-skating center that has had a steep development curve during the season. He is physically quite raw which partly explains why he flew under the radar for so long. Koivu possesses a plus tool in his shot that he likes to fire frequently, especially from the half-wall. He also has a quite good hockey sense especially in the offensive zone where he is good at making himself available as an option to pass the puck to. He can play responsible two-way hockey and he’s already developed some mature habits like good scanning.
  6. Cant say i ever considered it, would always pull for Canadian teams, aside from Leafs (which havent threatened forever anyways). Go Bruins!
  7. I was happy when Caufield was picked and i guess this guy is supposedly a similar-type sniper, but not hoping Habs pick him. Prelim games U18s start tomorrow, TSN i think is airing Canada games. Iginla & Greentree i guess are 2 top prospects playing. Not sure who is on USA/Sweden Schedule and Scores - 2024 IIHF U18 World Championship (hockeycanada.ca)
  8. These folks are high on Buium. Iginla just named to Canada's U-18 team and another chance to showcase his game. DobberProspects’ April Top-96 for the 2024 NHL Draft – DobberProspects
  9. Canucks or Jets cup win would be great, to see either of them get a 1st cup... If not Go Oilers!
  10. He would need to clears waivers in 24-25, so that aint gonna play out. If you are talking Barron?
  11. With 17g and solid play, is Armia tradable or have some value, say to a Utah, this off-season?
  12. Why would Stamkos be a fit on a rebuilding team? Not a fit , is he?
  13. Engstrom 0pts 13:38 in 1-0 win, after a 1-0 loss in game #1; series 1-1
  14. Xhekaj/Barron what kind of deals will they likely get? Guhle/Slafkovski, will both get extended in July? Ylonen?
  15. Well, i hope he stays there for the rebuild. But imagine will clean house if lose in 1st round.
  16. And someone made fun of me guessing Aves as likely favorites. Aves superstar skaters vs Vezina calibre goalie.
  17. Tuch supposedly had a solid game in Laval to start.
  18. Great to see Reinbacher get a dozen games in Laval under his belt, on smaller ice and intro to NA pro game. Laval Rocket eliminated from playoff contention with loss (habseyesontheprize.com) Luke Tuch stood out for me quite a bit among the forward group. He plays somewhat of a thankless game that probably won’t show up on the scoresheet a lot, but he back checks like his life depends on it, and is very capable in the dirty areas. If he keeps bringing that level of effort at both ends of the ice, he’ll eventually find himself getting a chance in the NHL. David Reinbacher is just so quietly effective. Outside of his assist, what really stood out for me was his puck distribution in his own zone. He seems to have an innate sense for where his teammates will be, and his first pass on the breakout is almost always right. He’s on the right track, and it will be interesting to see how he develops next season.
  19. Mesar as a pro, how will he look in Laval next season. Mesar’s Graduation: Thursday night in Kitchener – Hab At Her About the team. https://www.habseyesontheprize.com/adam-engstrom-interview-rogle-bk-shl-final-playoffs-montreal-canadiens-defence-prospect-sweden/ "Playoffs here will start at a quarter-past-nine in the morning for Montreal fans. What should they look for in your game, and maybe in the stands as well?" "I don’t think you should look so much at me now. I think it’s more important for the team now. First, it’s the second final for the club. It’s huge. We have an opportunity here to take the first gold for the club. It’s going to be awesome."
  20. Beck 0pts 4 shots 14/26, heading into OT. 3-2 win for Saginaw, up 3-2 in sries
  21. I wonder how Wright would be doing in habland, if had of chosen him?
