Nothing really wrong with this move. Bosox are picking up the rest of Hinske's contract this year, and half of it next year. Jays have some depth to work with to fill any holes, dump a lot of salary, and Hinske shouldn't be a utility man with his contract. I think he did really well this year though, and didn't look out of place in the outfield. I was expecting Cat to be traded though.

I find the Bonk thing interesting in that if Washington wanted an expensive centerman to bring themselves up to the cap floor, they could sign Allison for 2 mill and get much more point production out of him. Why give up a draft pick?
