  1. I gotta say, I haven't heard much about the prospect defenceman. Cote, Archer, Sanford... Is this my lack of knowledge, or are they not worth hearing about?
  2. This might cause a few players to think twice about playing overseas if there is no NHL season again. Terrible news. I hope he makes a full recovery.
  3. That's an awfully young and tiny second line. I base all my line predictions on Kovalev being a habs (don't let the dream die!!!! :contract:) so I gotta go with: Zednik-Koivu-Kovalev Perezhogin-Ribiero-Ryder (also awfully young and tiny) Bulis-Bonk-Sundstrom Higgins-Begin-Ward With Sundstrom/Higgins changing lines occasionally. Same with Bulis/Perezhogin. Also, they'll sign a goon for occasional 4th line work. Hainsey will be given a shot at the Habs lineup. He will fail. D lines stay the same, trades pending.
  4. So let's hear your thoughts... who graduates?
  5. Do you see the Raptors turning it around any time soon?
  6. Apparently so. I've been wanting to visit/live in Australia and now that I see I might be able to lace up the skates down there I'm sold. Australia here I come. I'm liking the name drop in your location Leafs Suck "Rick Nash's hometown"
  7. I'm torn...oh so torn. Big defenceman....big forward.....AHHHH!!! The Habs could use both, but I think I'd actually want a big forward first.
  8. Perezoghin didn't tear up the league immediately after joining the Dogs. It took him some time to adapt. So what if Kostitsyn had an average first year? Let's see how he does in a year or two. Also, I think he was playing on the third line a lot this year (Confirm/Deny?) so let's see how he does on the first or second line after some guys graduate to the NHL. Speaking of which, I look forward to seeing Plekanec or Higgins in the Habs lineup next year. It's pretty much inevitable one will make the cut.
  9. wow. The Dogs sure did make a habit of shitting the bed in the third period these playoff games. Not how I would have liked to see the season end, but oh well. Nice offensive outburst from the guys we'd expect to though; Plekanec, Higgins, Hainsey. Good to see some guys making strides to be a part of the Habs next year.
  10. well...let's hope Rochester left their brooms at home. GO DOGS GO
  11. 3 third period goals.... I hate to say it, but maybe Ellis should get the start next game.
  12. He scored a goal in their loss to Team USA last night. That has me really excited. It makes me think his offensive output last year wasn't just a freak occurance.
  13. Just listening to Beck's Guero album. Anyone a fan of his? I have a list of bands that I should get into more, and Beck has always been someone that has never disappointed me with what I've heard.
  14. Well ######. I'll start praying to all the gods. One of them might listen...
  15. They're gonna need some of those bounces to go their way. Rochester is too good of a team to get by without some good luck with the puck.
  16. Apparently the Team 990 is not covering the Dogs game. I turn it on and I hear the Team Canada vs Team USA game. *shrug* [Edited on 2005/4/22 by Trizzak]
  17. Actually, I wouldn't be surprised if he were traded. There are just too many small players on the Habs.
  18. Not a must win, but it certainly would be nice. What more can I say? GO DOGS GO! [Edited on 2005/4/22 by Trizzak]
  19. I wonder if not showing the Amerks Danis and Begin last game could change the play of this game. We all saw what Begin provided for the Habs in the playoffs. I think the Dogs can steal this series if they play their game, and get a few good bounces along the way. Any word on Kostisyn's status for this game?
  20. If these young guys can show the same heart and determination the Habs did against Boston, then yeah they could surprise the Amerks.
  21. Good man! John Petrucci is my hero. Have you heard of Liquid Tension Experiment? It's Petrucci, Mike Portney, Jordan Rudess and Tony Levin (from Kind Crimson) with all instrumental songs. Very rockin.
  22. Mer De Noms is absolutely incredible for a first release. No song is a throwaway tune (except perhaps Renholder.) I liked Thirteenth Step too. It was more of a flowing album than MDN, which was pretty much an album of singles. eMOTIVE wasn't as good, but what hey, whatever. I haven't heard of Dispatch though. I'll look around for some tracks to listen to.
