Doing all 3 steps is also how you win Most Overrated GM every year.
....but oh so true
-
what does all that mean alex??
First line: Stop using Dump and Chase
Second line: Get balanced players (80 OF - 80 DF)
Third line: Focus line strategies on trapping and hit and grind. Calling them KD (aka Kraft Dinner) lines is a slang term we started a while back. It basically just means basic and bland.

it's cool, you hate Russia....bet you didn't screw up any Canada picks! HAHAHAHAHA
The problem is I saved over the rosters with different Olympic info by accident. So I've had to do the last couple rosters over again.
These second ones are arguably better though. The first time I went solely on stats, the second time I used a combination of stats and ratings. I still think some players should be rewarded for good regular season play (or vice versa)
-
Oh man, I totally need to fix some snubs I didn't notice.
Arnost Nickel is off Team Czech for Alberta Swanda
Andrei Miroschwhatever is off Team Russia for Alex freakin' Ovechkin
I'm embarassed I forgot Ovechkin.
-
Also, for those curious, the current roster ratings are:
Russia - 87-85-84
Sweden - 84-85-82
Czech Republic - 86-83-83
Finland - 83-84-82
Slovakia - 73-75-74
Potluckistan - 80-79-78

Lol, for some reason, I had it in my head that the Tomorrrow - Team Name Here had the picture of the team above it, #stupidmoment
and Olympics is based on reputation more than points, hence Daniel should have made it
And 17 points in 38 games means his reputation sucks.
-
The picture for the Czechs is Switzerland
No, Joe's right, theres a couple Czech fans in front of her. Also since when has there been blue on the Swiss flag?
Also, Daniel should have made Team Sweden...A scorer that can't play D who isn't even averaging half a point a game? Yeah, I don't think so.
-
Get the 5100 and don't look back. It's probably their best for beginner's.
Both my brother in law and cousin are big into photography and they both swear by Nikon.
-
Well Czechs have the best fan so far. That must count for something.
I found that picture when I was looking for a Slovakian fan. I'm not entirely sure that flag she's holding is a Czech flag anymore.
In the grand scheme of things, it's probably not a big deal though.
-
Now that I look around, this is one of the biggest stories in Canada today. Haha.
Tim Horton's was the #2 TT on Twitter earlier. It's like 9th now.
-
Oh, duh, I read the article wrong.
That's kind of shitty then.
-
Hooray, extra heat for the same price when it's minus freaking 30.
-
nice stuff.
i cant be a gm if there is still some room.
This one is just a test run, don't need any other GMs since I'm doing it all myself. This is purely a pain in the ass for me and enjoyment for everyone else. The next one everyone can pick their roster and be GMs and all that stuff.
Which I think I might do this coming off-season. Depends when the off-season is though, I think we're headed for April right now. Which is finals. Which is no good for me.

what's that trade jets?
19-1-2017 Anaheim Ducks trade file:///C:/Program%20Files/Eastside%20Hockey%20Manager/pictures/icons/1.jpg Anaheim Ducks traded ANA's round 2 pick in 2018 and ANA's round 5 pick in 2020 to Ottawa Senators for OTT's round 5 pick in 2020
Fixing an older one, someone forgot to give Ottawa the 2nd round pick from your Shattenkirk trade
.
Not complaining here, just curious as to why Burdasov was inserted into my lineup ahead of Mikus. Mikus is the same position as the injured player and the better OA player.
It's basically whoever I notice isn't playing first goes in.

Aaah, and Sbisa was the d-man I was missing. Now Potluckistan is complete.
I also thought Mezsaros was a Czech when really he's Slovakian. Moved him off the Czech roster to the Slovakian roster, kicked Stehlik off the team completely.
-
I had to do this roster again and don't remember his name being on the roster. I don't remember picking Zedlacher or Zavokin either, I think I missed some guys.
I was right. Testavallia was on the team, not Zavokin.
Just kicked Zavokin off and put Testicle Man in.
-
Lol @ Noskov making it.

Also, before someone mentions it, I know Wolski plays for Canada IRL but the game has him as Polish so I'll go with that. He was born there anyway.

Unless you're from Slovakia
Pretty much existing was what got you on Slovakia.
-
Only the one Sedin?
16 points in 35 games is not going to get you an Olympic spot
-
What a finish in this Niners/Saints game, holy crap.

I hope she left another, jamming a pin through it kind of negates its usefulness.
