  1. April 6 GDT #82 - Golfers vs Probable First-Round Losers

NOW it’s Mete’s turn! Do it! Score. NOW!!!
  2. April 6 GDT #82 - Golfers vs Probable First-Round Losers

    I truly laughed out loud
  3. I’m at a USHL game, sitting beside a St Cloud St scout. He is so happy for Poehling - following his NHL debut tonight. Needless to say and perhaps obvious to us - but he loves Poehling and thinks he’ll be a really good player for us!
  4. 4 Teams - 1 Playoff Race

0-0 after 1 between the Rags and the Jackets. We arent dead yet!
  5. 4 Teams - 1 Playoff Race

I know we’d need a Jackets loss to get in - but what about a Canes tie? I was thinking if we win our 2 in regulation, and the Canes get 3 of 4 points, that we get in. Am I correct?
  6. 4 Teams - 1 Playoff Race

Like that we get the Bolts after 2 days off and the bolts are on 2nd of back to back. We have a shot at the canes with them against the Leafs next. I want to wake up Wednesday morning in playoff position again!!
  7. 4 Teams - 1 Playoff Race

    I’ll have what he’s having!!!
  8. Game #67: Habs in LA 10:30 EST

Has Kotkaniemi looked that bad that he needs a multi-game benching? I cant watch the games so I rely on you guys for this type of insight.
  9. 4 Teams - 1 Playoff Race

I think Carolina misses. Columbus i do think will get it together and make the playoffs but won’t win a round as they get to face the Lightning. Pittsburgh will get hot and stay hot and I’ll say wins their first round matchup with the Isles. Montreal has had its losing spell - I think they get their 4 of 6 points on the California swing and continues at that rate to the 7th seed.
  10. 2018-19 NHL General Discussion Thread

I was surprised to see that Montreal wasn’t a favorite city to visit on the road ...
  11. Habs vs Wings 730pm

Lehkonen, Thompson and Weise - managing to be -1 on a night of +’s and only forwards without a point. (Figured someone needed to be negative here and it’s likely my turn!)
  12. I grew up in the 70s, was in attendance for the ‘79 cup win, loved Cournoyer as I did all Habs (Lafleur, Dryden & Robinson we’re favorites tho). But although I always thought Cournoyer was good, I never saw him in Hall of Fame or Jersey retirement status. I would have put Shutt and Lemaire over him easy. 4 times named as the 2nd best RW in the league is good, 1 Conn Smythe. He just was never top. He never seemed in that Hall of Fame elite class to me as a fan. Thst said, my memories are more late 70s than early 70s, maybe I’m overly influenced by the star Guy Lafleur and didn’t see the star Cournoyer.
  13. Florida vs Montreal 730pm

3 games for Byron. Wow. I didn’t see that coming.
  14. 2019 World Juniors Thread

Wow! Romanov top dman of the tourney and Poehling top forward!! Future Habs looking good!
  15. Jan. 3, Canucks vs Habs, 7:30 PM

Canucks coach is saying it shouldn’t have even been a penalty on Kotkaniemi. http://www.espn.com/nhl/recap/_/gameId/401044946 Hockey plays happen. It’s a physical game. Players get hurt.
