Am I ever glad that game is finally over. That was too close.

I was born and raised in Toronto.(1967) Growing up watching hockey with my dad. Those great habs teams of the 70's, I was amazed by them. Lafleur with that hair streaking down the right wing putting a nice move on Salming and scoring a beautiful goal. Gainey, when he had hair, shutting down the top line of the opposing team and also netting some goals himself. Because of him the NHL made made an award for best defensive forward. (I just can't seem to remember the name of the trophy). I'm glad I'm not Julien. Some of the decisions(spl) that he and his coaching staff have and will have to make are tough ones. But it is good to see the team gaining more depth like it has. I think it's a good problem to have. :/) [Edited on 2005/10/7 by VaughanHabfan]

I found that to be a very entertaining game. Very happy for the young guys on the team. (The future does look bright.) There was some brain freeze at the start and end of the game, but they hung in there and didn't really fall apart. To me that is what helps build character. Good effort , well done boys.:clap:

I really hope that this will be a good game for our Habs. Hopefully they'll kick it up to a higher pace, last night's game seemed kinda flat to me. I honestly think that they have much more speed than what they displayed Wed. night. :ghg::ghg::ghg:

This will be my first look at Latendresse, Kostitsyn, Locke and Vandermeer. I just ordered RDS in time for the last game. I have good feelings about the future of this team.:ghg:

Does anyone know what the Habs lines are or is CJ just jugling the lines.:ghg:

There are so many prospects that it seems dificult to choose. But since you ask, I'd have to say Chipchura. I like his style of play and I see a real team leader in him.
