  1. Permanent Trade Proposal Thread

I would be asking for Anthony Beauvillier and a pick from Lou
  2. Joel Armia and Steve Mason for Simon Bourque

Don’t think any UFA centres wanted to come to MTL. We have to use the cap space in other ways. JK and Poehling will be 1 and 2 hopefully next season, maybe we’ll get lucky in lotto and they will be 2 and 3.
  3. Joel Armia and Steve Mason for Simon Bourque

Mason will be bought out at noon according to Renaud Lavoie.
  4. Joel Armia and Steve Mason for Simon Bourque

Armia is great and I’m very happy Bergevin is acquiring assets thru cap space. Give Joel some quality ice time and he will flourish. I don’t think that MB is Finnished making moves. 🇫🇮
  5. Permanent Rumour Thread

Jake Muzzin name has been mentioned . He is a quality LH d-man . I would imagine Kings would have to add another piece.
  6. 2018 draft thread

Either Svechnikov or Zadina should be our selection at 3. We need goals and they are both elite at doing that. I like Hughes and Kotkaniemi but we can't pass up on those two wingers. I think we're better off trading Patch or someone else for a defenseman to play with Weber. I'm really more interested in who we get in the 2nd round.
  7. Habs Sign Verbeek

MB was here in the Soo for game two vs. Owen Sound this past Friday night. Verbeek put on a show for him with two goals and an assist. Might also have been scouting centre Barrett Hayton and d-man Rasmus Sandin who have been standouts for the Hounds this season. Would love Sandin to fall to us early in the 2nd round. Great skater who loves to get involved offensively.
  8. Habs Sign Verbeek

Super happy for this kid. Very popular here in the Soo. Brings everything, every shift. Very shifty skater.. saw him vs. Sudbury earlier in the year.. two breakaways on the same penalty kill. Kid has some serious wheels.
  9. Plekanec traded to Leafs

    Timmons is licking his chops
  10. Plekanec traded to Leafs

We also retain 50% of remaining salary on Plekanec.
  11. Plekanec traded to Leafs

From Forecaster on Kerby Rychel Assets: A big power forward with both scoring ability and toughness, he is a factor in front of the opposing goal and in the corners. Is also a willing pugilist, which adds value to his overall package for the NHL. Flaws: Needs to play a simple game at all times, as he gets into trouble when he tries to finesse his way around the ice too much. Does not have elite skill, so he must earn his points through hard work. Career Potential: Physical, depth winger with a little upside. and Rinat Valiev Assets: Owns excellent size (6-3, 215 pounds) for the National Hockey League game, plus the ability to use it to shutdown opponents as well as play a physical game. Has some offensive ability. Flaws: Needs to continue to refine his all-round talent in order to maximize output at the highest level. Could stand to shoot the puck more often, since he boasts a quality point shot. Career Potential: Big defenseman with upside.
  12. Plekanec traded to Leafs

Gonna be weird seeing him on Toronto, not gonna lie.
  13. Plekanec traded to Leafs

Along with Kyle Baum for forward Kerby Rychel, d-man Rinat Valiev and a 2nd round pick in 2018 Not a bad return.
  14. Permanent Rumour Thread

I think the farewell party and .67 shots at that Montreal bar might have been the straw that broke the camels back lol
  15. Permanent Rumour Thread

I have to remind myself that the Habs don't leak out trade rumors and usually our trades get announced without warning. They got me again!
