  1. Check out Stub Hub (http://www.stubhub.com/?genre_id=7554), this should allow you to pick from a few seats. They are more than face value but probably much less than scalper prices. I've used the site before and had no problems. You keep that girlfriend happy man!!!
  2. After a fair bit of digging (on the company dime) I found this site http://www.shrpsports.com/ Its great for historical results in all the major sports.
  3. While I never checked every year i figured I'd check the year they only had 8 losses. They also started off that season 7-2 as well. It was the 13th game before they got the 3rd loss that season. Gonna need some luck to match that start. 1976-77 Season Montreal 10, Pittsburgh 1 W Montreal 3, Vancouver 0 W Buffalo 3, Montreal 1 L Montreal 4, Detroit 2 W Montreal 7, Philadelphia 1 W Montreal 7, NY Rangers 4 W Boston 5, Montreal 3 L Montreal 6, Washington 0 W Montreal 5, Toronto 3 W Montreal 9, Pittsburgh 1 W Montreal 4, NY Islanders 1 W Montreal 4, Chicago 4 (tie) T Boston 4, Montreal 3 L Outscored Pitt 19-2 in two games. HA.
  4. Check out http://www.stubhub.com/?event_id=177489 I have used this site in the past for a view different events. I'm not sure how much over face value these tickets are but at least its something to work with.
  5. Wrong hopefully!!!!! http://www.sportsnetwork.com/merge/tsnform...rd.aspx?season=
  6. Check out http://www.tsn.ca/nhl/news_story.asp?id=136521. I went to see the Washinton Nationals play last week. At least when they moved they came to my area.
  7. I am living in the US now for 6 years and didn't get any coverage at all woth a damn until I ponied up for DirecTV sateilte and the NHL Center Ice package, worth every penny I might add. But the US market still sucks for hockey coverage in general, maybe OLN will change that for the better. There was no coverage whatsover for the World Juniors this year. I ended up watching the games live via online streaming video. I found a site www.mediazone.com which saved me and allowed me to watch the games live. Its good for international events that aren't available in your home country. I got a little off topic there, but I hear your pain of not being able to enjoy a hockey game.
  8. All of these articles are missing one thing though, actual quotes from Theo himself. The Gazette article quotes Souray and Broduer, and while I am sure they know more than me its still just what they think not what Theo has said. If any of you have read anything with him actually quoted please post it as I'd like to have a look. PS I hope Theo signs long term along with Ryder and Luongo and whoever stays where they are.
  9. I did indeed. Sorry, mind all frizzed when big trades happen.
  10. Hossa: DOB: Jan 21, 1981 188 goals and 202 assists in 467 career games Heatley: DOB: Jan 12, 1979 80 goals and 101 assists in 190 career games. Youth(only 2 years but still) and Point Per Game goes to Heatley. Heatley would have 444 points in 467 games compared to Hossa's 390. Not to say that will happen but it certainly could. This trade is good both ways depending on the D-man Ottawa give's up.
  11. This deal will allow the Sens to sign Redden or Chara long term. Other than that they wouldn't be doing it. At least I hope that is what Muckler is up to.
  12. I guess that ends those rumours. http://www.tsn.ca/nhl/news_story.asp?id=134249
