It is a team sport. Sometimes teams need quick passes. Your quality of play is dependent of the amount of time you hold on to the puck, but what you do with it. To sing the praises of other players doesn't mean you have to detract from the play of others. You want to talk about how great Latendress is, no one is stopping you from starting a thread. However, saying that Kostitisyn isn't that great, and then over analyzing one pass (which result in a goal) seems like sour grapes ... and who wants to read your sour grapes? Not me ... and not a lot of others either. You want to know what the Pros think? Read some articles. Higgins, Kovalev, Komisarek, and Plekanec have all had raving reviews about ####' play of late .... so I don't know why you feel the need to diss him. Point fi-nal! And like every player that ever plays for the Canadiens has to by like Morenz, or Roy right. Good point! Morenz or they deserve to be criticized. :?- Hey, got a novel idea ... support your team. Be proud of them. When they set up a sweet goal, give them credit. #### has laid up a few beauts in the last few weeks.

Sorry, got a bit catty there .... this constant nigglin' about silly details is getting to me. This pass wasn't good, even though we scored ... if the people who are this critical of players on the Habs applied the same standards to themselves .... well Montreal would be one of the most productive an error free cities in the world. The guy plays great ... he just came up from the minors ... he will be a future star .... and who cares if his pass was risky ... risky wins games sometimes. I'd like to see Price have at least 1 full year in Hamilton ... that is what Kolzig recommends, and he knows WAY more than me about Price and being a pro goalie.

For the team's sake I am glad I was right .... but keep watching, I don't think that #### hasn't shown us the whole kit and kaboodle yet. When he starts scoring himself ... then you will see a pack of Habs fans drooling all over him. It may even border on pathetic (the drooling I mean), but #### is just titalating right now.

Woohoo! Only other good news, the Lightning lost .... but all our other competitors won Nice to see Kovalev get some goals, finally!

Very encouraging news. I'm looking forward to our team next season. We will probably be one of the top 5 teams in nets in the NHL, and our young forwards will make our offense very excitingto watch. I'm a little concerned about our D next season, but hopefully we can get Emelin to come over and challenge for a roster spot.

Every games against our direct competitors is now, pretty much, make-or-break. We can't afford too many loses here on in. Also, the Leafs are in that Catagory too, since they have the same amount of points, and games in hand. No breathing room here.... down to the wire.

What do you think about Dan Jancevski? Does he have any chance? You've seen them all in action, who do you think is the closest Hamilton D to full time service in the NHL?

Bobby, Bobby, Bobby ... by you guys, I guess you mean me (cause I'm the only one who mentioned #### in this thread), and I did give Latendress his due respect ... I said he has been playing great. My point being that Kostitsyn has been helping out this team recently, whereas Latendress has been around all year! They have, however, both stepped up recently, and are one of the reasons that Halak doesn't have another Loss, because they have been accounting for the bulk of the scoring in the last few games. Halak was never really the problem. The team's poor play is. And with a little support, Halak could do really well. But if the team does crap, then there is no point to wrecking a goalies confidence for a season that is all but over. (Good thing that we are turning things around though ... not quite the lions of winter, but some promising determination of late ... hopefully we can keep it up).

It was the older guy ... and he does that sort of thing regularly ... he gets so excited, or so in to sounding excited, that he blurts out any old thing that comes to his lips. I have heard so many expressions and words butchered on his lips. My vote goes for a 27 game winning streak too If we get the Sabres in the first round I won't be too affeared. I think it would be a good series.

I think Carbonneau did a good thing by allowing Halak a week to re-focus and work with the goalie coach, and it looks like it is paying off. Keep in mind that the problem was never with Halak, so I don't think everyone got off the bandwagon. The team is playing better in front of him. And Kostitsyn has helped a lot in that department. Without his creative pass the Habs may have gone to overtime ... Tenderhead has been playing better recently and scoring a bit. But Halak is a very good goalie ... and will be spectacular if his team plays well in front of him.

Worst possible results around the NHL. Leafs win, and NYI and Bolts go to overtime. Now 2 of our competitors share 3 points! Good thing about our future match ups is that we control our own destiny still. We have a game against the Leafs, and 2 against the Ragers.

Your right, just one example of many. They fumble through everything they say, and they don't really say that much ... I listen to it because it is my only option ... but I find their quality pretty low. I guess for my comment it was the messed up expression that broke the camel's back.

Agree with you Todd's perspective. Always have. However, I wonder where your opinion on Kostitsyn is coming from. Could you back it up with details and proof? I'm not so quick to judge him. His brother has fire in his belly, and when those two are on the same team I think that they will see things the same way and work hard. Hockey is about fun, and maybe he has been having problems adjusting to North America ... and Hamilton.
