  1. One argument to counter your comment found in Wikipedia Online Ency. During the winter of 1941–42 the T-34 again dominated German tanks through its ability to move over deep mud or snow without bogging down. German tanks simply could not move over the same terrain the T-34 could handle. The German Infantry, at that time armed mostly with 37mm and 50mm towed antitank guns, had no effective means of stopping T-34s. Only the poor level of Soviet crew training and the ineptness of Soviet commanders prevented the T-34 from achieving greater success. For more info we could create a lounge for it (sorry for taking this space admin)
  2. Something completely basic but I would like to confirm with you savy ones out there!>.. When a team loses in OT and in shoot outs... that losing team still gets a point. fair... but who get points ... obviously a game winning goal in OT is as usual.. and counts in the player stats... what about in the shoot out...??? Thanks for answering my humble question... Puffffffffff (inhale) man uuuu Guyyyyss gggotttt commmmeee ovrrrr to Vanc... phooooooo (exhale) BeckHam's got good weed growing out in his yard :hlogo:
  3. -=Van Hainsey=- continued Wouldn't it be wiser ... although I'm sure theres a rule they cant cause Gainey would have thought so.... (something like the Hossa trade) p.s. Perez and Pleck are in no matter what!
  4. both players are on temp. waivers .... Van and Hainsey My question is... what was the chances of keeping hainsey and sending streit down and then during the season trade hainsey for a 3 pick or whatever.... was there any obstacles for doing that... and when would be the earliest the habs can make a trade like this?
  5. get him to become like Begin or Even MAtt Cook!!! yeahhhh
  6. What did the Habs owe to the Rangers? They accepted a trade proposal of a later 2nd round pick and a 3rd round pick for an earlier 2nd round pick. That's it. Do we owe them anything for failing to properly evaluate Latendresse? I think not! And the future considerations on Kovalev's deal? Couldnt that be a maybe? and why out of all 29 teams pick the rangers? Maybeeee as a sign of thanks... maybeee... Dont be so quick to negate ponder and digest a little before... unless u obviously can't then ... all the best to ya
  7. I agree we needed to make up what we owed to be even with the Rangers... its a cool thing to do from one original six to another you dont mess around (this is what sets us apart from other teams and Gm's from both teams know it. There can't be any other reason fro trading Hossa than to make room for Perez and Latendresse... We want to make Kovalev happy too Bonk already has Bulis. The question is do we need an enforcer or we keep both Perez and Latendresse... both players were safe anyways even if we didnt keep either.. so I think Gainey saw that with the new rules we need speed and we need presence in front of the net with someone with soft hands
  8. can't afford to send SunnyD to Hamilton he's a Million bucks better get rid of him even if Scotty and Jacques think he's good .. but whomever is the 24th or 25 th habs then too bad chao chao
  9. problem is when the other team has a goone who do we have to counter them? risk Sourray hurting his hand... get dagenais to do the same ? even if he does constantly losing fights is a negative moral hit to any team
  10. on the sheet the third line hasnt even shot on goal how do they look on the screen? : Ferland and company
  11. Someone know if there is some video play on the internet of the game please please if u dont want everyone to know please email me at montebruno@gmail.com I cant even get Bert and the canucks to show up here! MANY MANY THANKS
  12. I agree with keeping what we've got ...but the question remains How do we keep theodore on his Feet! without burning him . He can't play 70 games and expect to be tip top for the playoffs... Melanson will give special attention to both Huet or Danis ... Julien has to give them as many games as possible and hopefully they will improve and impress so that Jose will feel the pressure ... this is what we have to cross our fingers for... that Our backups stand to the challenge during the first two months.
  13. again as someone else stated before.. any news on the Bruins lineup? hope its their top! want to see how well the rooks do against Thornton and company
  14. he actually wears a Habs pendent!!!

  16. By the way did anyone go to the Chilean Wine tasting Tour that swept through the country... (CANADA that is) they were in the UK before and now their off to Asia... Montreal Quebec , Toronto Ottawa Calgary Edmonton and Vancouver where I was serving Wine for the High end Somelliers and Wine connaisseurs... Bunch of Wankers but The restaurant people where Awesome and the gals were GREAT ... would inspire any great wine maker Picks .. All the bordeaux blends (traditionals Merlot Cab/sauv all wourth trying) The Carmenere were off except by luck the One I was serving.... A wine critic which I will keep Annon. said it was the best of the bunch (J.Bouchon special reserve Carmenere).... $20.50 freakin little grape its not easy to make that wine!! Cheers to you all!!!
  17. Le Gros Beck stop smoking crack... keep to our BC weed :>
  18. Yes indeed great deals from California, speaking of California but Baja in this case if Your a Syrah lover (shiraz) have you tried one called De Lacetto form Baja California (Mexico) its 13.99 here in BC. Mind you its a simple wine but rich in colour and peppery spice yet not as overpowering as Aussie Shiraz... One thing to my Ontario friends ... I've heard you get some BC wines over there!.... Burrowing Owl ; Sandhill; Mission Hill etc... But sadly we dont get any of your fine wines... I believe their is some unethical trade barriers here imposed by the BC gov and the BC wine producers (speculation only) So unfortunately have not tried any Ontario wines other than the Unity wine which is a blend of BC and Ontario varietals. Cheers Corv
  19. Lets keep Lantendresse another 2 years before putting him on the stanley cup winning team I see it already bet we have tooned this team to all but perfection we will put ptit Gui and we will be shouting Gui Gui Gui and na na na goodbye counting the seconds before we receive what is rightfully ours! LORD STANLEY!!! AWAY HABS GOOO COLISSSSEEEE!!!!
  20. I Agree Ottawa has what were lacking but to fool them like we did to get Bonk (not that it was OOOO so amazing but still) ... doubt they will make that mistake again.. They dont intend in giving up a player to a team from their own division!
