How can we expect x amount of points from him when Therrien keeps them under wraps? Max, Plex, Weise and even DD have been given keys to the castle and they've gotten squat in Dec? I mentioned MT should increase AG's lines icetime because the top line clearly isn't cutting it. Alex's line seems to be the only line that competes night after night. Love Carr btw. And maybe the minutes swap will awaken Max from his slumber?

Put it this way..when Torrey Mitchell played with Alex (although briefly) Alex disappeared. AG is very familar with Eller. In the past year, Alex's overall defensive game has improved and Eller is partly responsible for that, no doubt. I know, Alex has gotten stronger as well, but he's learned how to play in his own end. It's not Ellers fault that Mitchell signed here dirt cheap either. As far as Mitchell being anything other than a standout 4th line center, is a stretch. He's doing an amazing job where he's at.

That's cool, I don't feel that you're insulting me. We're having a discussion, and differing opinions are what this forum is about. We can agree to disagree, no problem. Now. as far as a Dustin Byfuglien goes, no way we could afford him. It would be nice, but we'd have to move PK, and that isn't happening for some time. A) in the past 10 + games, I haven't seen this slot presence you speak of. I see cowardly, soft play, from our forwards who constantly lose battles along the boards. There's no wonder why our shooting % has become so miniscule. We're taking a ton of easy shots. Ok Commandant, how do you explain the disappearing acts of all 4 of our leaders in Dec? Maybe you can find another researcher to figure their whereabouts? Max in particular..A captain doesn't pull a Houdini and disappear when the going gets rough.

Some of you need to put down the stat book. Eller does many other things that benefit his linemates. That's why hockey is a team game. There are hundreds of mini-battles within every single game. Watch more closely, please. Do I think Eller will ever break any scoring records? Absolutely not, but he's still an asset to the team.

A)Just because we've outshot some teams in Dec, it doesn't mean that we've outchanced them. NHL teams are GIVING us the outside, knowing we won't beat them from there. B) I think there's more to this prolonged slump than we know. And besides, aren't slumps more like 4-6 games? C)Sure it's easy to blame the injuries, but we're really only missing two players of any significance, right? What about the players that are actually IN the game? D) Dare I say we may need an enforcer/Top 6 Defenseman to give the guys a bit of courage? I think Markov needs to go, sorry folks E) I kind of expect MVPrice to be sick to his stomach watching this farce, and come back too early..again! Eller, AG, Carr get bumped to 1st line and pp. They're the only line that competes. Greg Pateryn and Andrighetto need to get into the lineup too. Maybe Max and Markov need a night off.

I'd give AG's line the 1st line minutes, and since Max's line wants to watch from the outside, they can watch from the bench

Think about it Commandant, when's the last time PK hit the net, let alone score a goal? Max has been playing like the scared new kid in the school district..keeping to himself on the outside. Plex has been playing with the same dozen eggs in his pocket since November. Markov, on most nights, looks every bit his age. None of these guys look to be giving a full 100% effort on any night. I think MT has lost the room, and the so-called leaders are heading the revolution to run him outta town.

Personally, I'd think about sitting Emelin before NB or Pateryn. Also, it wouldn't kill us to rest Markov once in awhile

Idk 29, but Pateryn has shown that he's ready to be the physical defensive defenseman time and again. Also seems to be a decent puck mover, decision maker...go figure I guess?
