1st game at home after road trip, i am not putting a lot of money on the Habs to win this one.

Well, Habs beat the Aves in Jan., wonder what odds are they will do it again. On paper, looks pretty one-sided. Franchise of Futility vs Franchise of Forever Projected line combos, courtesy Daily Faceoff Canucks exceed the Habs in every way, except in net, where I assume Casey DeSmith will be between the pipes owing to Demko's injury (as well as the fact that you'd dress him anyway, against a bottom-feeder like Montreal). I will be at this one, along with the 18 000 or so other local Habs fans who always swarm the arena when les boys come to town. GO HABS GO!

No idea about lines but Guhle is on the ice for practice - surprise, surprise. Primeau hasn’t played in a month but not sure who gets the start. Suzuki is playing excellent hockey and so is my man Slafkovsky. Go Habs Go -

EARLY start on this ... felt like the best place to mention that I would prefer Condotta and Stephens be called up for Tuesday's game, giving Newhook the extra four days until the Dallas game in Montreal on the 10th. -

No news on lines Harris in because "we are healthy and it is a competitive league" ... I would also note that Pittsburgh has the 3rd fewest PIMs per game, not the most physical team Harris always impresses me with how he handles himself with the media -

The Canadiens practiced at TD Garden ahead of their matchup with the Bruins on Saturday. Head coach Martin St-Louis confirmed during his pregame press conference that forward Josh Anderson will return to the lineup in Boston. The 29-year-old forward has not played since Jan. 11 against the Sharks. He's been evaluated on a day-to-day basis (lower. body) since then. Anderson is slated to play his 499th NHL game. Samuel Montembeault will start for the Canadiens for the seventh time in 11 games. Here’s the projected lineup for tonight’s game: Forwards Jesse Ylonen and Tanner Pearson, as well as defenseman Johnathan Kovacevic rotated in on occasion. None of the three are expected to play against the Bruins.
