  1. https://www.nhl.com/gamecenter/mtl-vs-det/2017/11/30/2017020382#game=2017020382,game_state=preview 11-12-3 vs 10-10-5 and teams are tied for 25th place. No Price tonight, no Drouin and no Weber. Will Carr play and if so, will he have any impact, I like his grit. Too bad the Habs d lacks any grit and hope Niemi dosent get cross check to head treatment. Go Habs Go
  2. https://www.nhl.com/gamecenter/ott-vs-mtl/2017/11/29/2017020378#game=2017020378,game_state=preview Match up of 26th vs 27th placed teams. Montreal 10-12-3; Sens 8-8-6 Stone, Hoffman and Karlsson are key offensive guys to key on. I doubt it will be a boring game and a nice lop-sided victory for Habs would be cherry on top to hand Sens their 5 loss in a row.. (Then on to Detroit for Thurs. game and normal debate of whether Price should or shouldn't play back-to-back games.) Lineup might not be changing, find out tomorrow.
  3. After only picking up one of four points vs Utica, the Rocket (9-8-4) will look to kick off this road trip on a winning note as they travel to Belleville to take on the Senators (9-10-2). Noah Juulsen is expected to make his season debut (but not his professional debut as he did get into the AHL playoffs last season). Carr - Holland - Terry Audette - McCarron - Gregoire Veilleux - Petti - Baun Boucher - Ebbing - Waked Taormina - Lernout Parisi - Juulsen Gelinas - Leblanc Lindgren Paul - White - McCormick Rodewald - Reinhart - Werek Ciampini - Chlapik - Randell Perron - Kelly - Gagne Burgdoerfer - Sieloff Englund - Jaros Murray - Lajoie Hammond (he's still with Ottawa's farm team despite being part of the Matt Duchene trade) Puck drop is at 7:00 PM EST. 91.9 Sports has the coverage in French.
  4. 15-7-1 vs 9-12-3 5th ranked team vs 27th ranked Habs, should be a battle for Habs to win this one and will likely need #31 to play like he did last game. Pre-game trivia notes http://intentionaloffside.com/?p=45112 Havent seen lineups yet, but assume Schlemko will see his 1st action.
  5. https://www.nhl.com/gamecenter/buf-vs-mtl/2017/11/25/2017020349#game=2017020349,game_state=preview Looks like a cellar battle between the 30th vs 27th placed teams. But, who knows...it may be entertaining. What version of Price will be between the pipes in 1st game back? Looks like Eichel & Kane are the key forwards to be shut down. But, dosent look like Weber will playing, so Price will be tested for sure.

  9. After nearly blowing a three-goal lead with two minutes left to go on Wednesday, the Rocket (9-5-2) will look to play something resembling a somewhat competent defence tonight as they host the Phantoms (9-5-2). (Lines based on last game's +/- listing plus some guesses.) Martel - Vecchione - Aube-Kubel Carey - Varone - Conner Lindblom - Knight - McDonald Fazleev - Vorobyev - Goulbourne Morin - Myers O'Neill - Friedman Brennan - Willcox Tokarski Carr - Holland - Terry Audette - McCarron - Baun Boucher - Petti - Gregoire Veilleux - Ebbing - Waked Taormina - Jerabek Parisi - Leblanc Gelinas - Lernout Fucale Puck drop is at 7:30 PM EST. 91.9 Sports has the coverage in French. TSN 690 will have the call in English while the game can be seen live on RDS.
  10. Following an overtime win to close out the weekend, Laval (8-5-2) is back at home as they host Utica (5-6-1) in a battle between the lowest scoring team in the conference versus the team that allows the most goals per game. (Lines based on last game's +/- listing plus some guesses.) Goldobin - Megna - Bancks Molino - Cassels - Laplante MacEwen - Chaput - Rodin Labate - Darcy - D'Aoust Chatfield - Holm McEneny - Sifers Sautner - Brisebois Demko (Based on lines from last game) Carr - Holland - Terry Deslauriers - McCarron - Baun Boucher - Audette - Gregoire Veilleux - Petti - Waked Taormina - Jerabek Parisi - Leblanc Gelinas - Lernout McNiven Puck drop is at 7:30 PM EST. 91.9 Sports has the coverage in French.
  11. After blowing a three-goal lead to lose to the worst team in the AHL yesterday, Laval (7-5-2) will look to get back into the win column as they travel to Hartford to take on the Wolf Pack (6-7-1). Carr - Holland - Terry Audette - McCarron - Baun Deslauriers - Petti - Gregoire Broll - Boucher - Veilleux Taormina - Lernout Jerabek - Parisi Gelinas - Leblanc McNiven (Lines based on last game's +/- listing plus some guesses.) 12. After a week off, the Rocket (7-4-2) are back in action as they travel to Springfield to take on the Thunderbirds (2-11-1) who have the worst record in the AHL. Chris Terry is expected to play while Michael McCarron will also make his return to Laval's lineup after being sent down earlier this week. Terry - Holland - Baun Carr - McCarron - Audette Deslauriers - Petti - Gregoire Broll - Boucher - Veilleux Taormina - Lernout Jerabek - Parisi Gelinas - Leblanc McNiven Lines based on last game's +/- listing plus some guesses. Haapala - Balisy - Hawryluk Aagaard - Valk - Grenier Farnham - Malgin - Greco Horvat - Lammikko - Buckles MacKenzie - Erixon Brown - Wittchow Downing - Schemitsch Montembault Puck drop is at 7:05 PM EST. 91.9 Sports has the coverage in French. There's no Laval English feed and considering this will be happening at the same time as the Hab game, I don't think anyone's going to be listening to this anyway so I won't bother chasing down the Springfield feed.
  13. Two Ms enter but only one will win. Can the Habs get their revenge on the Wild after a poor showing last week or will Minnesota run the table on the season series? Jason Zucker - Eric Staal - Chris Stewart Nino Niederreiter - Mikko Koivu - Mikael Granlund Daniel Winnik - Joel Eriksson Ek - Tyler Ennis Marcus Foligno - Matt Cullen - Luke Kunin Ryan Suter - Jared Spurgeon Jonas Brodin - Mathew Dumba Kyle Quincey - Mike Reilly Devan Dubnyk Max Pacioretty - Phillip Danault - Andrew Shaw Alex Galchenyuk - Torrey Mitchell - Artturi Lehkonen Paul Byron - Tomas Plekanec - Brendan Gallagher Charles Hudon - Jacob de la Rose - Byron Froese Karl Alzner - Jeff Petry Joe Morrow - Jordie Benn Victor Mete - Brandon Davidson Charlie Lindgren
  14. It's a matchup that has been 100 years in the making. After the Golden Knights equalled Montreal's century-old record for the fastest team to reach nine wins in their inaugural season over the weekend (at least they beat Ottawa to do so), the Habs will be out for revenge. (That may sound like artificial hype but it sounds better than saying that Montreal is facing an expansion team that will either start a below-average minor league goalie or a guy picked in the seventh round less than five months ago that has been traded already...) Jonathan Marchessault - William Karlsson - Reilly Smith David Perron - Erik Haula - James Neal Oscar Lindberg - Cody Eakin - Alex Tuch William Carrier - Pierre-Edouard Bellemare - Tomas Nosek Nate Schmidt - Luca Sbisa Brayden McNabb - Deryk Engelland Colin Miller - Brad Hunt Maxime Lagace Artturi Lehkonen - Jonathan Drouin - Alex Galchenyuk Max Pacioretty - Phillip Danault - Andrew Shaw Paul Byron - Tomas Plekanec - Brendan Gallagher Charles Hudon (GTD) - Michael McCarron - Torrey Mitchell Victor Mete - Shea Weber Karl Alzner - Jeff Petry Joe Morrow - Jordie Benn Charlie Lindgren
  15. The Habs are playing on a Sunday which can only mean one thing, it's time for another mind-numbing thrilling Rogers Hometown Hokey Hockey featuring musical artists no one has ever heard of, random former players to reminisce about the good old days, and two young hockey players to pick their favourite players as the three stars regardless of what actually happened in the game. All of this stupidity excitement comes in lieu of discussion about the actual game at hand as it will be ignored during the pregame and intermission. It's the new Canadian tradition...at least that's what Sportsnet keeps telling us it is. Artturi Lehkonen - Jonathan Drouin - Alex Galchenyuk Max Pacioretty - Phillip Danault - Andrew Shaw Paul Byron - Tomas Plekanec - Brendan Gallagher Jacob de la Rose - Michael McCarron - Torrey Mitchell Victor Mete - Shea Weber Karl Alzner - Jordie Benn Joe Morrow - Jeff Petry Charlie Lindgren Alex DeBrincat - Jonathan Toews - Richard Panik Brandon Saad - Nick Schmaltz - Patrick Kane Patrick Sharp - Artem Anisimov - John Hayden Lance Bouma - Tommy Wingels - Ryan Hartman Duncan Keith - Cody Franson Jan Rutta - Brent Seabrook Michal Kempny - Connor Murphy Corey Crawford

  17. After a tough loss against the Marlies on Wednesday night, the Rocket (5-4-2) will look to get back into the win column as they host the Crunch (3-5-2) for a pair of games. (Lines based on previous game +/- listing plus some guesses.) Bournival - Lynch - Conacher Erne - Peca - Akeson Gallant - Stephens - Cirelli Yan - Volkov - Joseph Walcott - McBain Masin - Thomas Bodie - Cernak Leighton Carr - Froese - Baun Audette - Holland - Boucher Deslauriers - Petti - Gregoire Broll - Ebbing - Veilleux Taormina - Lernout Jerabek - Parisi Gelinas - Leblanc Fucale Puck drop is at 7:30 PM EST on Friday and 3 PM EST on Saturday. 91.9 Sports has the coverage in French. 18. After taking the first half of the home-and-home on Saturday, Laval (5-3-2) looks to take the second half as they host the Marlies (6-3-0). Terry - Audette - Holland Carr - Froese - Baun Deslauriers - Petti - Waked Veilleux - Boucher - Gregoire Taormina - Lernout Jerabek - Parisi Bourque - Leblanc Lindgren Rychel - Aaltonen - Johnsson Timashov - Mueller - Moore Greening - Gauthier - Soshnikov Marchment - Brooks - Smith Dermott - LoVerde Nielsen - Rosen Valiev - Holl Pickard Puck drop is at 4:00 PM EST. 91.9 Sports has the coverage in French. There's no English feed for Laval and listening to the Marlies feed is never a good idea.

  20. After struggling a bit on the road, the Rocket (4-2-1) begin a home-and-home set with Rochester (2-3-0) on Wednesday with the second half coming on Friday. Jeremy Gregoire returned to practice but won't be available for Wednesday's contest at the very least. Lines are based on +/- combos from their last game plus some guesses. Baptiste - Porter - Moses Smith - Criscuolo - Fasching Malone - Gill - Cornel Ross - Blackwell - Krause Percy - Nelson Guhle - Goers MacWilliam - Allen Ullmark Terry - Holland - Froese Carr - Audette - Reway Deslauriers - Petti - Baun Veilleux - Boucher - Waked Taormina - Parisi Gelinas - Lernout Bourque - Leblanc Fucale Puck drop is at 7:30 PM EST on Wednesday and 7:05 PM on Friday. 91.9 Sports has the coverage in French. There's no English feed for Laval, ESPN Rochester has the call for the Amerks.
  21. The Montreal Canadiens continue their Caliornia swing and look to cap it off with a much needed victory. Yours truly will be attending the game and is therefore attempting anything to try and help them snap out of it and pull the win off. With Price in net, this is a winnable game although the Habs tend to not have much success in California. Anaheim won last year's meeting in California by a score of 3-2 in a rather close encounter. As far as I know, one of the storylines of the game is that Ryan Getzlaf continues to be nursing an injury and will therefore be out of the lineup. The Habs have a shot here. PROJECTED LINEUPS MONTREAL CANADIENS Pacioretty - Drouin - Galchenyuk Lehkonen - Plekanec - Hemsky Byron - Danault - Shaw Hudon - De La Rose - Gallagher Mete - Weber Alzner - Petry Morrow - Davidson PRICE Montoya ANAHEIM DUCKS Cogliano - Rakell - Silfverberg Ritchie - Vermette - Perry Wagner - Grant - L. Shaw Kerdiles - Rasmussen - Boll Fowler - Manson Beauchemin - Montour Megna - Holzer GIBSON Berra Lineups are not absolutely confirmed but two additional things to note are... 1) The hot start of Andrew Cogliano on the Ducks. Can he keep it up tonight? 2) Gallagher's presence on the 4th line. I'm assuming he spent some time there last game but he also took a puck to the hand (again) last game and hopefully there's not too much to that story.
  22. 3-4-0 Record Scratches: McCoshen Injuries: Luongo, McCann, Sceviour Projected Lineup Jonathan Huberdeau - Aleksander Barkov - Evgenii Dadonov Jamie McGinn - Vincent Trocheck - Radim Vrbata Denis Malgin - Connor Brickley - Nick Bjugstad Micheal Haley - Derek MacKenzie - Owen Tippett Keith Yandle - Aaron Ekblad Michael Matheson - Alex Petrovic Mackenzie Weegar - Mark Pysyk James Reimer Harri Sateri 1-6-1 Record Scratches: de la Rose, Mitchell, Morrow Injuries: Hemsky, Schlemko Projected Lineup Paul Byron - Jonathan Drouin - Artturi Lehkonen Max Pacioretty - Phillip Danault - Andrew Shaw Charles Hudon - Tomas Plekanec - Brendan Gallagher Alex Galchenyuk - Michael McCarron - Nikita Scherbak Victor Mete - Shea Weber Karl Alzner - Jordie Benn Brandon Davidson - Jeff Petry Carey Price Al Montoya Team Leaders Florida Montreal Game Notes Goals Vincent Trocheck (3) 3 tied with (2) Puck Drop: 7:30 PM EST Assists Radim Vrbata (5) Karl Alzner (4) National TV: N/A Points 3 tied with (7) Jonathan Drouin (5) Regional TV: TSN2, RDS, FS-FLA PIMS Micheal Haley (27) Andrew Shaw (18) English Radio: TSN 690 +/- Aaron Ekblad (+5) 3 tied with (-1) French Radio: FM 98.5
  23. It's the AHL's scheduling at its finest - the Rocket (4-1-0) play their third game in less than three full days as they travel to Providence to take on the Bruins (4-1-0) who are also playing their third game in less than three full days. (Lines based on last game and some guesses as I imagine Reway will be back after sitting yesterday plus Bourque needs to play at some point.) Terry - McCarron - Scherbak Carr - Froese - Baun Reway - Audette - Waked Deslauriers - Petti - Broll Taormina - Jerabek Gelinas - Lernout Parisi - Bourque Fucale Lines are based on +/- combos from their last game plus some guesses. Heinen - Czarnik - Szwarz Fitzgerald - Cehlarik - Forsbacka-Karlsson Porter - Cave - Senyshyn Hargrove - Payerl - Blidh Cross - Lauzon Zboril - Grzelcyk Clifton - Breen Binnington (thanks to St. Louis not having a farm team this year) Puck drop is at 3:00 PM EST. 91.9 Sports has the coverage in French. There's no English feed for Laval and I don't feel like looking up the Providence feed.
  24. After a tough OT loss that saw them blow multiple leads last night, the Rocket (3-1-1) play the middle match of their 3-in-3 trip as they travel to Bridgeport to take on the Sound Tigers (1-3-0). Peter Holland and Markus Eisenschmid were injured yesterday and won't suit up today. (Lines based on last game and some guesses as I imagine Reway will sit as well.) Terry - McCarron - Scherbak Carr - Froese -Waked Deslauriers - Audette - Baun Broll - Petti - Veilleux Taormina - Jerabek Gelinas - Lernout Parisi - Bourque Fucale Lines are based on +/- combos from their last game plus some guesses. There's no English feed for Laval but here is the Bridgeport one (I think).
  25. After a two-week homestand, the Rocket (3-1-0) hit the road for the first time this season as they travel to Wilkes-Barre/Scranton to take on the Penguins (2-2-0). (Lines based on last game.) Terry - McCarron - Scherbak Carr - Froese -Waked Deslauriers - Audette - Eisenschmid Gregoire - Petti - Baun Taormina - Jerabek Gelinas - Lernout Bourque - Leblanc Lindgren Lines are based on +/- combos from their last game plus some guesses.
