  1. Tonight is the second game of Hamilton's 3-game homestand (before a 9-game road trip) and the Bulldogs (27-30-1-4) will look to keep their slim playoff hopes alive against the Admirals (29-20-6-6). With there being some injuries in Nashville, Milwaukee has lost a couple of their better players to recall. On a side note, Scott Darling, who was in Hamilton's system last year (and played a game), is having a fantastic season as Milwaukee's backup. I didn't see that coming. (based on +/- data from previous games) Moser - Forsberg - Beck Salomaki - Watson - Saponari Wathier - van Guilder - Cehlin Liambas - Tousignant - Rask Ford - Valentine Rodney - Roussel Bitetto - Piskula Mazenec Bournival - Andrighetto - Thomas Blunden - St. Pierre - Dumont Tarnasky - Macenauer - Leblanc Courtnall - Nattinen - Owens Beaulieu - Pateryn Drewiske - Ellis Chouinard - Schiestel Tokarski Puck drop is at 7:30 PM, AM900 will have the play-by-play; click the banner below to listen. Cable 14 also has the game for those in the Hamilton area (or anyone with Rogers or Cogeco internet can stream it for free).

  4. The Bulldogs (26-29-1-4) will look to make it a winning weekend today as they travel to Toronto to take on the division-leading Marlies (35-19-2-3). Projected Hamilton Lines: Andrighetto - Macenauer - Thomas Blunden - St. Pierre - Dumont Tarnasky - Holland - Leblanc Courtnall - Nattinen - Owens Beaulieu - Pateryn Drewiske - Ellis Chouinard - Schiestel Mayer Projected Toronto Lines: (based on +/- data from previous games/straight up guesses) D'Amigo - Smith - Abbott Leivo - McKegg - Kozun MacLeod - Carrick - Ryan Devane - Smithson - Broll Brennan - Marshall Holzer - MacWilliam Percy - Granberg Gibson Puck drop is at 3:00 PM, AM900 will have the play-by-play; click the banner below to listen. SN 360 also has the game on the TV side.
  5. After not playing for five years, the Bulldogs (25-28-1-4) will take on the Baby Penguins (32-20-3-5). Martin St. Pierre returns to the lineup after Lefebvre's attempt at sending a message failed miserably...which is about on par with a lot of his decisions. Projected Hamilton Lines: Andrighetto - Macenauer - Thomas Blunden - St. Pierre - Dumont Tarnasky - Holland - Leblanc Courtnall - Nattinen - Owens Beaulieu - Pateryn Drewiske - Ellis Chouinard - Schiestel Dubnyk Projected WBS Lines: (based on +/- data from previous games/straight up guesses) Megna - Ebbett - Machacek Zolnierczyk - Drazenovic - Kostopoulos Zlobin - Payerl - Uher Farnham - Manderson - Letourneau-Leblond Harrington - Mikkelson McNeill - Samuelsson Goers - D'Agostino Mannino Puck drop is at 7:00 PM, AM900 will have the play-by-play; click the banner below to listen.
  6. This afternoon is a very important battle between Hamilton (25-27-1-4) and Lake Erie (24-27-0-6). The winner won't be in last place in the Western Conference at the end of the game. Lots on the line in this one... Projected Lake Erie Lines: (based on +/- data from previous games/straight up guesses) Carey - Sgarbossa - Wyman Agozzino - Malone - van der Gulik Schumacher - Smith - Desbiens Heard - Hishon Clark - Siemens Stollery - Hunwick Beaupre - Elliott Maggio Pickard Projected Hamilton Lines: Andrighetto - Macenauer - Holland Blunden - Dumont - Leblanc Tarnasky - St. Pierre - Thomas Courtnall - Nattinen - Fournier Beaulieu - Pateryn Drewiske - Ellis Chouinard - Schiestel Dubnyk Puck drop is at 3:00 PM, AM900 will have the play-by-play; click the banner below to listen. The game is also being televised on Sportsnet 360.
  7. Tonight, Hamilton (25-29-1-4) has a potentially winnable game. They are in Syracuse to take on the Crunch (24-26-4-5) who are just two points ahead of them in the standings (albeit in the other conference). Naturally with a winnable game, expect Mayer in net as Tokarski won't be available until tomorrow. Projected Hamilton Lines: Andrighetto - Macenauer - Thomas Blunden - St. Pierre - Dumont Tarnasky - Holland - Leblanc Courtnall - Nattinen - Owens Beaulieu - Pateryn Drewiske - Ellis Chouinard - Schiestel Mayer Projected Syracuse Lines: (based on +/- data from previous games/straight up guesses) Marchessault - Namestnikov - Connolly DiSalvatore - Paquette - Gourde Labrie - Angelidis - Paradis Smith - Langelier-Parent - Rankin Sergeev - Cote Witkowski - Korobov Henry - Landry Desjardins Puck drop is at 7:00 PM, AM900 will have the play-by-play; click the banner below to listen.

  9. Hamilton (25-26-1-4) will look to get back into the win column tonight as they take on the Wilkes-Barre/Scranton (30-20-3-5) in a rare matchup between the teams. They last played a regular season game in February of 2009. Curiously, they play again next week. Go figure. Projected WBS Lines: (based on +/- data from previous games/straight up guesses) Megna - Ebbett - Machacek Zolnierczyk - Drazenovic - Kostopoulos Zlobin - Carman - Uher Farnham - Manderson - Letourneau-Leblond Harrington - Mikkelson McNeill - Samuelsson Goers - Dumoulin Deslauriers Projected Hamilton Lines: Andrighetto - Macenauer - Holland Blunden - Dumont - Leblanc Tarnasky - St. Pierre - Thomas Courtnall - Nattinen - Fournier Beaulieu - Pateryn Drewiske - Ellis Chouinard - Schiestel Mayer Puck drop is at 7:00 PM, AM900 will have the play-by-play; click the banner below to listen.

  11. If the Bulldogs (25-25-1-4) want to have any shot at making the playoffs, tonight's game against the Barons (26-24-1-7) is pretty much a must win. OKC sits 9th in the West, just two points out of the final playoff spot. Projected Oklahoma City Lines: (based on +/- data from previous games/straight up guesses) Horak - Arcobello - Pinizotto Fyten - Lander - Pitlick Hamilton - Acton - Ford Kessy - Ewanyk - Combs Musil - Grebeshkov Fedun - Gernat Davidson - Hunt Bachman Projected Hamilton Lines: Andrighetto - Macenauer - Thomas Blunden - Dumont - Leblanc Courtnall - St. Pierre - Holland Tarnasky - Nattinen - Fournier Beaulieu - Pateryn Drewiske - Ellis Chouinard - Schiestel Dubnyk Puck drop is at 7:30 PM, AM900 will have the play-by-play; click the banner below to listen.

  13. Before the main course of Habs vs Leafs, enjoy the appetizer of the Bulldogs (24-25-1-4) and the Marlies (32-17-2-2). If memory serves me right, whenever the NHL and AHL teams both play each other on the same day, it usually doesn't end well for Montreal fans. Here's hoping that changes this time. Projected Hamilton Lines: Andrighetto - Macenauer - Thomas Blunden - Dumont - Leblanc Tarnasky - St. Pierre - Fournier Courtnall - Nattinen - Holland Beaulieu - Pateryn Chouinard - Ellis McIver - Schiestel Mayer Projected Toronto Lines: (based on +/- data from previous games/straight up guesses) D'Amigo - McKegg - Abbott Leivo - Carrick - Ashton Duco - Ryan - Kozun Devane - Smithson - Staubitz Brennan - Marshall Holzer - MacWilliam Percy - Granberg MacIntyre Puck drop is at 3:00 PM, AM900 will have the play-by-play; click the banner below to listen.

  15. Tonight is a big game at the FirstOntario Centre. The winner of the Bulldogs (23-25-1-4) and the Monsters (23-25-0-5) gets the satisfaction of moving out of the 4-way tie for last in the West. That's...something. With Tokarski out, Mayer gets the nod while Mike Condon is up from Wheeling and will be the backup. Hopefully he gets a game or two if Tokarski's going to be up for a bit. Projected Lake Erie Lines: (based on +/- data from last game) Agozzino - Sgarbossa - Meurs Carey - Malone - Wyman Schumacher - Smith - Desbiens Cheek - Heard - Soudek Elliott - Beaupre Hunwick - Stollery Clark - Siemens Pickard Projected Hamilton Lines: Andrighetto - Macenauer - Thomas Blunden - Dumont - Leblanc Tarnasky - St. Pierre - Fournier Courtnall - Nattinen - Holland Beaulieu - Pateryn Chouinard - Ellis McIver - Schiestel Mayer Puck drop is at 7:30 PM, AM900 will have the play-by-play; click the banner below to listen.

  18. For the second time in seven days, the Bulldogs (22-25-1-4), who now sit dead last in the West, host San Antonio (23-22-2-5), affiliate of Florida. The Rampage have lost just one in regulation in their past 10...and that came yesterday afternoon. Projected San Antonio Lines: (based on +/- data from last game) Wilson - Shore - Butler Howden - Ortmeyer - Rallo Crabb - Trocheck - McFarland Gomes - Martindale - Shaw Whitney - Petrovic Robak - Gilroy Racine - Zanon Markstrom Projected Hamilton Lines: Andrighetto - Macenauer - Thomas Holland - Dumont - Blunden Tarnasky - St. Pierre - Fournier Courtnall - Nattinen - Leblanc Tinordi - Pateryn Chouinard - Ellis McIver - Schiestel Tokarski Puck drop is at 3:00 PM, AM900 will have the play-by-play; click the banner below to listen.

  20. Hamilton (22-24-1-4) will look to leapfrog out of the 13th spot in the conference (which is still ahead of where they were last year) tonight as they travel to Rochester (26-18-3-4) to take on their division rival. Andrighetto - Macenauer - Thomas Courtnall - Dumont - Blunden Holland - St. Pierre - Leblanc Tarnasky - Nattinen - Fournier Tinordi - Pateryn Beaulieu - Ellis Chouinard - Dietz Mayer (based on +/- data from previous games) Porter - Zigomanis - Larsson Varone - Adam - Tardif Catenacci - Irwin - Armia Schaller - Gillies - Roy McNabb - Ruhwedel Bagnall - Ristolainen Pysyk - MacKenzie Hackett Puck drop is at 7:05 PM, AM900 will have the play-by-play; click the banner below to listen.
  21. For the second straight matchup between the teams, the Bulldogs (22-23-1-4) and Senators (32-15-1-3) will play in an NHL arena, this time at the Bell Centre. Hamilton gets some relief from the infirmary too as Morgan Ellis makes his return to the lineup. 22. Rematch of the Gold medal game from four years ago, winner goes on to play for gold. Sorry for the sloppiness, I just put this together last minute. GO CANADA GO!!
  23. The Bulldogs (22-23-0-4) will look to move into a tie for 9th in the West this afternoon as they host the Rampage (21-21-3-5) for the first of two games between these teams in the next week. San Antonio is on a nice run at the moment as they haven't lost in regulation in their last 10 so it won't be an easy task. Projected San Antonio Lines: (based on +/- data from last game) Wilson - Shore - Butler Howden - Ortmeyer - Rallo Crabb - Trocheck - McFarland Gomes - Martindale - Shaw Whitney - Petrovic Robak - Gilroy Racine - Lee Markstrom Projected Hamilton Lines: Andrighetto - Macenauer - Thomas Courtnall - Dumont - Blunden Holland - St. Pierre - Leblanc Tarnasky - Nattinen - Fournier Tinordi - Pateryn Beaulieu - Chouinard Schiestel - Dietz Mayer Puck drop is at 1:00 PM, AM900 will have the play-by-play; click the banner below to listen.
  24. Hamilton (22-22-0-4) will look to extend their winning streak to 3 tonight as they host Texas (29-15-2-4) in their first game after the All-Star break. If anyone's wondering about the playoff situation, the Bulldogs are 11th, 6 points out of a tie for 8th (and Rochester has a game in hand). They've got some work to do.
