  1. https://www.tsn.ca/montreal-canadiens-sign-defenceman-kaiden-guhle-to-three-year-entry-level-contract-1.1541282 With Guhle signed, I expect they will invite him to camp unless he is prepping for/involved in the WJHC ... NORMALLY, teams cannot send CHL players to the AHL ... but ***IF*** the WHL plans to start in January fall through and there is nowhere for him to play CHL hockey it would seem to be logical to implement an exception for the 2020/21 season (I'm still calling it that as saying 2021 season technically overlaps with what will hopefully be a more normal 21/22 season).
  2. Just in Gallagher signed 6.5mil over 6 years. What's everyone's thoughts. Think this means Byron will be moved for cap space and Tatar won't be back.
  3. 4 years, $3.5 million AAV, 10 team M-NTC
  4. Make or break year for Juulsen. Hopefully he stays healthy and makes up for lost time.
  5. Well does Bergevin sign anyone our is he done? Our line up as of right now Drouin / Suzuki / Anderson Tatar / Danault / Gallagher Lehkonen / Kotkaniemi / Armia Hudon / Evans / Byron Extra -- Weal / Poehling Chiarot / Weber Romanov / Petry Edmundson / Kulak Extra--- Mete Price Allen So this is what we're looking at come spring training. Does Bergevin add to this or is he pretty much done. i am hoping he adds Dadonov to the mix. He would look good on that 3rd line Dadonov / Kotkaniemi / Armia Then 4th line would be Lehkonen / Evans / Byron Pretty much all 4 lines can score .
  6. One Year at $735,000 Pretty cheap deal for him. Good signing. Does he have a spot in the lineup however?
  7. Jeff Petry resigns for 4 more years at 6.25 per year. NMC. Habs re-sign Petry to four-year extension https://www.tsn.ca/1.1529841.1601057376
  8. While he played well in limited action in Laval, I'm a little surprised that the Habs gave him an NHL contract. https://www.habsworld.net/2020/09/habs-re-sign-jake-lucchini/
  9. 1 year, $700K/$105K. http://www.habsworld.net/2020/09/habs-re-sign-lukas-vejdemo/ There will probably be more news about him soon as there are two Allsvenskan teams trying to get him on loan to start their upcoming season.
  10. One Year. 700k in the NHL, 70k in the AHL. 26 years old, never drafted. Last 6 years in KHL.
  11. https://www.nhl.com/canadiens/news/canadiens-agree-to-terms-with-defenseman-alexander-romanov/c-316861758 TBD start depending if and when season continues, or 24 team playoff option or season canceled. And if he and others signed can play this season if comes to that. Either way he is Team bound.
  12. With his junior eligibility exhausted, Rafael Harvey-Pinard (a 7th rounder of the Habs back in 2019) was going to be turning pro one way or the other for next season. He won't be playing on an entry-level deal though as he instead inked a one-year, one-way deal with Laval. I know he was holding out hope of an ELC but this is certainly the better route from Montreal's perspective. http://www.habsworld.net/2020/05/laval-signs-rafael-harvey-pinard-to-a-one-year-deal/
  13. Centre who had a strong season in the OHL this year. https://www.nhl.com/canadiens/news/canadiens-agree-to-terms-with-forward-cameron-hillis/c-316901990
  14. https://www.sportsnet.ca/hockey/nhl/canadiens-agree-entry-level-contract-arsen-khisamutdinov/ 2019 6th round pick. Interesting. His KHL numbers are less than exciting, but same goes for Romanov.
  15. Laurent Dauphin got off to a slow start after being acquired for Michael McCarron but played pretty well over the last few weeks with Laval before the shutdown. He gets a one-year, two-way ($700K/$175K) extension for next season. http://www.habsworld.net/2020/04/habs-sign-laurent-dauphin-to-a-one-year-extension/
  16. I was not expecting this signing after a rather pedestrian season, but if this is one of of the AHL vets to buy in to Bouchard's system then sure, why not I guess?
  17. It didn't take until training camp this time around. That's...something. It's a one-year, two-way deal worth $700,000 in the NHL, $125,000 in the AHL, and has a total guarantee of $150,000. http://www.habsworld.net/2019/07/habs-re-sign-michael-mccarron-2/
  18. Great signing.. 2.4 per year for 2 years.
  19. Not sure if good deal or expected amount, but I like what he brings?
  20. 3 years at 3.5 per Guess that's the answer to the LD hole
