  1. While the Habs are off until Thursday, they've placed Kenny Agostino on waivers. Presumably, this is to make a roster spot for Weise in the interim at least. And to no one's surprise, Alzner cleared. http://www.habsworld.net/2019/02/habs-place-kenny-agostino-on-waivers/
  2. A bit strange in that i figured theyd just send alzner down again. That said, schlemko is shit too... so not losing any sleep if he gets claimed
  3. After being unable to find a taker in a trade, the Habs have placed Nikita Scherbak on waivers. I'm on PHR coverage right now so it may take a bit for a HW write-up but here's my quick write-up from PHR: https://www.prohockeyrumors.com/2018/12/canadiens-place-nikita-scherbak-on-waivers.html
  4. The Habs have placed Xavier Ouellet on waivers. Presumably, this is being done to open up a roster spot for Noah Juulsen to be activated off IR in advance of Sunday's game against Chicago.
  5. It turns out Karl Alzner will be the roster casualty for Shea Weber's return after all. He'll be on waivers at noon. http://www.habsworld.net/2018/11/habs-waive-karl-alzner/
  6. I didn't see this coming - Tomas Plekanec is on unconditional waivers for the purpose of his release. http://www.habsworld.net/2018/11/habs-to-release-tomas-plekanec/
  7. This saga just keeps getting weirder. Jeremiah Addison was listed as a healthy scratch to start the season and then was listed as injured. Yesterday, the Habs sent him to the ECHL and today, he's on waivers. (I'm guessing he refused to report.) Assuming he clears, he'll be released tomorrow. http://www.habsworld.net/2018/11/habs-to-release-jeremiah-addison/
  8. It turns out the roster casualty to bring Jacob de la Rose off IR is de la Rose himself as the Habs have officially placed him on waivers. http://www.habsworld.net/2018/10/habs-place-jacob-de-la-rose-on-waivers/
  9. With Weber skating (maybe he plays tonight?), the Habs would need to open up a roster spot to activate him off IR. They can designate Davidson as waivers non-roster to do that without having to send Carr back to Laval. http://www.habsworld.net/2017/12/habs-waive-brandon-davidson/
  10. As per RDS, TSN and TVA Sports. http://www.tsn.ca/habs-claim-g-niemi-off-waivers-1.915142
  11. No shocker here after he left the team to ponder his future earlier this week.
  12. Oh well. He should never have been signed in the first place. This is also further proof that Mete will last more than 9 games.
  13. Guest

    Redmond to Waivers

Redmond placed on waivers. It was pretty much only a matter of time since the Nesterov trade
  14. Alexander Barkov has not had a great start to the season, nor have the Florida Panthers. I think if Huberdeau was playing Barkov would be producing consistently. I am hesitant in dropping him as he tends to heat up in the second half of the season. But currently he is doing nothing for my team. Should I keep Barkov or try to trade him or just drop him?
  15. Well that's odd timing with a potential Mitchell injury and Shaw suspension.
  16. As part of many waiver claims today, Mike Condon was claimed off waivers by Pittsburgh. He'll back up Fleury for a month or so until Matt Murray returns from injury.
  17. http://www.habsworld.net/2016/02/habs-claim-mike-brown-off-waivers/
  18. It looks like Alexander Semin's days with the Habs are numbered. He's on waivers today. http://www.habsworld.net/2015/12/habs-waive-alexander-semin/
  19. Zack Kassian was instated to the active roster today from the SABH program. He was then placed on waivers at noon. Presumably, they're hoping to get him into game action with St. John's but he'll need longer than a typical conditioning stint. http://www.habsworld.net/2015/12/habs-waive-zack-kassian/
  20. I thought the Habs might try a conditioning stint with him first but instead, they opted to waive Bournival right away. We'll find out tomorrow at noon if he clears. Considering how much time he has missed, I would think he will (although the Leafs tried to do the same with one of their youngsters and he got snatched up by Nashville). http://www.habsworld.net/2015/12/michael-bournival-placed-on-waivers/
  21. http://www.habsworld.net/2015/10/habs-claim-paul-byron-off-waivers/
  22. Wow, bold move? I suppose not so bold if you really think about it. Bourque is 3.3 mill not contributing. Looks like Sekac has his feet dig in ever deeper now.
  23. It appears that someone found those pictures, cause the Habs have put Mayer on unconditional waivers with the purpose of terminating his contract. Sad for him but I never understood why he was with us in the first place. Maybe they are making room for budaji.
