SJ is having an awesome yet surprising season, no one expected this young team to be #1 in their division. Habs need to set the tempo for the who road-trip during this game, the game against the Sharks will likely be the toughest game of the trip. :ghg: [Edited on 2004-3-3 by puck7x]
Prime Minister Koivu
This road trip scares me a little. Atleast Buffalo has flopped and it looks like the islanders might loose to Pittsburg again. We need to win two to keep pace.
Fanpuck33_
Passing New Jersey would be nice, just for the pleasure of passing a team that's been so successful in recent years. Hopefully we can finish strong and make a move in the playoffs. Beating playoff caliber teams like the Sharks would be nice too. I hope some kind of deal gets done, nothing too big that gives away young talent, but something to help us now. I want a playoff run before the lockout. huzer
I guess the lines need to be modified now, with Kovalev in the lineup.
sakiqc
Julien said on CKAC that Kovalev won't obviously make the morning skate in San Jose. And they'll decide later if he'll play the Sharks game. Kovalev played a lot lately and with the travel. ANd probably he won't sleep much. Anyways, he just haev to take his time. Rest him for Friday's game IMO

Rest him for Friday's game IMO IMO, if Kovalev doesn't play against the Sharks because he needs to sleep, he can stay on the plane and go back to the Rags. If he cant get excited about coming to the greatest team in NHL history, a team that WILL be in the Playoffs, a team that's on a 5 game winning streak, he wont be much help to the team.... I definitely think he'll play......It's gonna be fun to watch, I cant wait!! :ghg:

puck7x
http://www.habsworld.net/show_news.php?id=424 Matchup Edge Article... Great stuff by our newest contributor Danick. Oh... About WCHF's question, Kovalev should play tomorrow night according to something I read, or maybe I heard it. Anyways, he should play... Spider-Man NL
Hopefully the Habs can make it 6 in a row. :ghg:
bombTHEice
It will be a tough game, hopefully Kovalev won't be too tired for this game. I say 3-2 :hlogo: Koivu, Kovalev, Dagenais Better for McLaren that he isn't playing, I'll never forget the cheap shot against Zednik.

There's no hurry to make him play tonight againts the Sharks. We can be wise and give him a little rest. Hey, it would be Kovalev 4th game in 5 days, and he has to travel all America from East to West. It's not like it's a live-or-die game. Magic number is now 11 and we can start preparing for a long playoff run. :ghg:
habsfan88
mclaren is a stupid idiot. i just want to see somebody lay him out, preferably a habs. I hope kovalev is going to be rested enough for this game.
habsfan88
Also I'd like to say that Danick's job on that game preview(links at the top), was great! very useful information with the habs vs. sharks previous games etc.
=CH=
Question: Who has the better post game show, CJAD or The Team? I usually listen to CJAD on the net. I've never heard The Team in Montreal.
huzer
I don't know if CJAD is having one tonight, but I know the Team is not. I was listening earlier and they said they were not having a post game show due to the late start of tonight's game.

If you like listening to a host who hangs up with anyone who says anything bad about the Canadiens, then CJAD is for you... I dont like either. puck7x
Markov might not play tonight, he has a foot injury... but its not serious enough to keep him out long (At most, just for tonights game) ... I think he's faking it to spend some time with his new Russian teammate
