Athlétique.Canadien
Don't forget that faxes and approval and even announcements might still come through. TFP confirms that CHI made a trade but the details of W5 are not out. It could be us. You never know. Calm people. Calm
JMMR
Boyes to the Blues for Wideman. Edited February 27, 2007 by JMMR
Easy Ryder
So the Isles give up O'Marra, it's like we gave Latendresse or Chipchura, for Nillson it's like we gave Kots and a first rounder. No way, it's too much. Bob is smart not to move.
Athlétique.Canadien
It's not over. TFP reports: A source tells TFP the Bruins have traded Brad Boyes. To BOS: D Dennis Wideman To STL: C Brad Boyes Edited February 27, 2007 by ATHLÉTIQUE.CANADIEN

kenadian
What's TFP?? Wow, some people need to relax it's just a game.......... Either that or get a life Who know what went on behind closed doors? Maybe the offers for our guys we're too low, and the price to get other guys were too high... and other teams went looking elsewhere and went into panic mode near the end. Either getting what they could [for who they traded] or whatever [picks etc] they could in return

Easy Ryder
In my opinion, Brad Boyes is the steal of the day. No way they would have traded him to Montreal but there is no way Wideman worth Boyes.

Prime Minister Koivu
Edmonton will tank the rest of the season. You don't cut your heart out and live for long.

sbhatt
They would not have made it anyway! Agreed. The race is tight, and the Oilers are mediocre this year. Kevin Lowe got as much as he could for Smyth after he couldn't sign him. What else could he have done?
smon
Yeah, Lowe made the right move. But man, I feel sad for the Oilers fans, they always lose their best players all the time. Buffalo paid a heck of a lot for Dainius Zubrus!
jetsniper
Scott Parker is back with the organization and we got rid of Brad May. Yeehaw! Glad to see Giggy decided against moving Hejduk to the Leafs. Would've liked to see Vanaanen dealt but that was about it. Really wanted him to do nothing at all and thats exactly what he did. Proud of ya Giggy.
