Pierre the Great
Atlanta also has one of the biggest populations in NA. That's misleading. Most of the population are not from Atlanta there fore they don't care about the local teams. Only 'original' people from Atlanta are the poor people. The rest are out of towner's. For example there are more Atlanta braves fans outside of the Atlanta area then inside the Atlanta area. Atlanta is full of transplants. jetsniper
Whether Atlanta is a sports town or not really doesn't relate to the playoffs... I wish someone would score, I want to go to bed.

jetsniper
Isn't it like, 2 over there? Why the hell do you want another period?
JMMR
Isn't it like, 2 over there? Why the hell do you want another period? Well because I love the playoffs and this is the first night. Also playoff OT is my favourite. And I have nothing but studying to look forward tomorrow. Edited April 12, 2007 by JMMR
Pierre the Great
I did not know that. I guess there must be tons of job's there. Delta-headquarters Coca Cola- founded and head quartered in Atlanta Arby's Chick'fila Georgia-Pacific Southern Company Suntrust Banks Earthlink CNN Home Depot Cingular Wireless UPS BellSouth Rubbermaid all are headquartered in Atlanta or founded in Atlanta HUGE Transplant city. Everyone is passionate about sports, just not the home teams. Over 75 percent of the Fortune 1000 companies have a presence in the Atlanta area, and the region hosts offices of about 1,250 multinational corporations. I know that city like the back of my hand been to about every neighbourhood. MLK is crying probably, where his church is, is the ghetto, homeless people sleep in the weeds. That's the real Atlanta to me.
jetsniper
Pierre, you're like, the king of going off topic. Just had to say that. Turco's been playing well, surprising.

His playoff record as I said before is 1 and 6.
Pierre the Great
lol, its a gift, its a gift. man is this game ever going to end, canucks look dead.
jetsniper
Alright, we should name our OT heroes. H.Sedin for Canucks Sydor for Stars Shots are 57-32 for Dallas. Scary if you're a Canucks fan.
JMMR
Bulis and Ribs. A former habs will score. Honestly I say Morrison and Lehtinen.
Pierre the Great
Yeah not a lot of shots but that's pretty much been what its like for the season. I'm going with one of the Sedin twins.
jetsniper
Haha, I was actually close to saying Ribs. I think it will be a d-man if the Stars win though. If not Sydor then Zubov or Daley. Yeah not a lot of shots but that's pretty much been what its like for the season. I'm going with one of the Sedin twins. I don't mean on the Canucks side, thats not surprising. I mean how many they've allowed in comparison. For such a tight defensive system they've played all year, Dallas is really exposing it. Pierre the Great
tight defense? lol Luongo is the defense. Plus isn't Salo hurt again, I remember him leaving the ice in like the 2nd period.
jetsniper
Who cares about individual players? I said defensive system. And it's not working tonight.
Pierre the Great
they just look tired. one of the goals wasn't anyones fault really, Luongo didn't even see it. But Canucks looked tanked since the 3rd. And now we are almost another game later. then again I've seen the dead tired team win these things so many times. JMMR
Somehow I highly doubt that. No it seriously is. Only other time they want to triple OT was against Calgary game 7 Monday April 19th 2004. Edited April 12, 2007 by JMMR
