Oh dear God.

I just telephoned my brother in Montreal, we talked a lot about the Habs win etc., he said th edowntown is crazy, and I said something like "Yeah, beating Boston is great, I seem to recall that Dad really hated the Bruins ha ha ha!"

Then, my brother told me that when I was really young, to piss off my Dad, I had actually been a Bruins fan!!!!

"You really liked Bobby Orr" he said.

:o:o:o

Initially I was shocked, but then it started to come back to me slowly - I believe I might have even had a Bruins' beanie.

This is a memory I must have blocked out, like, when kids experience something traumatic such as a sexual assault or a horrific accident (I know, being a Bruins fan is worse than either of those examples).

I hope I won't be kicked out of the HabsWorld community for making this confession, I am better now, honest, I really am.

Boston had a nice team to finally have a long road on playoffs. They made great additions.. Gonchar and Nylander.. too bad for them their first BIG line was neutralized by little Saku's line (+17) !! Hey man.. Knuble (6-3) Thornton (6-4) and Murray (6-3)

Bruins are in big problems now.. lol

Players who are UFA on july 1st:

Glen Murray, (III)

Mike Knuble, (III)

Michael Nylander, (III)

Brian Rolston, (III)

Travis Green, (III)

Dan McGillis, (III)

Sean O'Donnell, (III)

Felix Potvin, (III)

Jiri Slegr, (III)

Rob Zamuner, (III)

Anyone notice that two of our best players have been quite similar in the last month?

Kovalev and Markov have been tremendous of late. Both have picked up their games radically.

However, on the other end of the spectrum, our two biggest surprises this year, Souray and Ryder, have both been average at best.

Theodore and Zednik, who were both average before, have also turned it up during this playoff run.

TB is fast, with prolific scorers. We never once beat them during the season...

...But we didn't have Kovalev before either :king:

King Kong, Kaptain Koivu, and the BeatniK ZedniK rule the world! :ghg:

We split the last four meetings 2-2.

But Grahame was in net for 3 of those 4 games.

Overrated Winger - $5 million per year

# of idiotic statements by a guy named Rolston: 1

# of cheap shots handed out in the series: 50,000

$ spent on kleenex for the CBC: $800,000

Getting your butts kicked outta the playoffs for the 23rd time by the Montreal Canadiens: Priceless
