MK19 0
One more thing, the Habs will unveil their new look jerseys just before their first exhibition game. Moe Khan Team
les_glorieux 0
That would make sense I guess eh. No point in wearing the old jersey for preseason then the new one for the regular season
Tony 0
Oh man, I hope they didn't change anything :ninja:
Doktor Kosmos 0
I agree Tony. They've kept the same basic design for a century. There's no reason why they'd change it now. Like the saying goes: if it ain't broken...
l<OV4L3V 18
If theres one thing I hate about the "New NHL" its how they feel the need to change everything...everything is fine as it is right now!
Tony 0
As long as they don't change the size of the nets, I'll still keep watching. Mind you, I'll be pretty pissed off if the Habs' jersey gets a significant change.
Fanpuck33 61
Mark my words and mark them well: the Habs jerseys will simply be the old design on the new fabric and size.

zumpano21 121
So I'm guessing this means unveiling the jersey just before the first preseason game (Pens at Habs, Sept. 17th). I don't know if I can hold out that long, I am very curious.

saskhab 8
You're right. The NHL told RBK to leave the original 6 as is. Boston slightly amended their B. Very subtle change. http://bruins.nhl.com/team/app/?service=pa...ge&id=10891
Habitforming 0
Source? It was in an article about RBK getting the go ahead for "new" jersey's.
Habitforming 0
Boston slightly amended their B. Very subtle change. http://bruins.nhl.com/team/app/?service=pa...ge&id=10891 I guess I should have been more specific. There is some areas in which the team can tweak the current designs. Boston put more emphasis on the "B" and kind of made the logo in bold print with more pronounced outlines. I have no idea what the habs agreed to, it could be a big bleu, blanc et rouge Youppi. Who knows?
Fanpuck33 61
Am I the only one not seeing the difference in the Bruins logo?
Habitforming 0
Am I the only one not seeing the difference in the Bruins logo? No, It does look the same until you put an older one next to it. basically they made the logo bold that's about it.
saskhab 8
Am I the only one not seeing the difference in the Bruins logo? They added a little extra at the top and bottom of the B... it used to be a straight line back, now it has defined edges. Very subtle change. Look at the link and you'll see the breakdown vs the old designs.
Fanpuck33 61
Ah, yes, I do see the outline around the outside of the B is now closed, whereas it used to open up to the yellow lines.
AthlƩtique.Canadien 17
Shame on you saskhab. You have soiled Habsworld with that Ruins garbage ( ) PS. I'm actually kidding
Koivu11 0
hey i;m as curious as all of you about thesse new jerseys but can these be the prototypes? http://www.sabresinsider.com/images/mtl.jpg To me honestly they don't look too bad

Oleg Petrov 0
I'm definitely against the idea of changing the look of the Habs' jerseys, but for the record, they've been this way for far less than 100 years. I don't have the info at my fingertips, but consider that they were initially maple leafs blue...
JMMR 92
Those were jerseys some kid made about a year ago.
Jaysix 0
If they change the jerseys I will beat somebody up !! Edited August 15, 2007 by Jaysix
