kaos
If the next step is becoming a fulltime NHL player....then yes he is probably ready. Is he ready to be a fulltime 1st line or 2nd line winger.....probably not. I really don't see him putting up 25+ goals or 50 + points at this point in his career. He really needs to develop some consistancy and needs to stay away from Kovalev and not pick up his bad habbits
OneSharpMarble
Both Perezhogin and Kosty have been hampered by Carboneau, lets hope Kosty doesn't go the same way Perez went.
Chris
Perez was hampered by HIS inability to stay out of the penalty box every time he was given a chance at ice time.
Easy Ryder
If he's ready we will see at the big camp, and what is his bad work ethics ? He was terrific in +/- with the Dogs, in the games we saw him play with the habs, even if he was injured he was digging puck in the corners. He is a lot stronger in the head than Perezhogin and he can take pressure. What i am hopeful on his case is for him to transform potential into results. And with his set of skills it would be disastrous for him to be confined in a defensive role. If he can find a groove and put some powerful shots in, opponent goalies will try to force him to shoot and then his vision and pass accuracy will result in goals for his line. Not that he will score 40 or so but his linemates will benefit from is overall play.
Partisan
well A kost and S kost and Grabovsky could cause damage in 2 years for the canadians for sure... I see A Kost breakout year on a 2nd line paired with Plek and (Higgins or Latendresse)
OneSharpMarble
Perez was hampered by HIS inability to stay out of the penalty box every time he was given a chance at ice time. He was hampered by Carbo not understanding that offensive minded players dont do well on a checking line. Maybe you need to see Carbo send Kosty down to the dogs again to understand his poor coaching abilities.

Carboneau made some errors last year, expect improvements this year.
