Yep. The farm will be stacked this season and though I won't claim that that drastically improves our pro team's chances, people tend to underrate the importance of having a great AHL affiliate.

Russel, Stewart, Desharnais, Bonneau... some of these guys will start the season with Cincinnati (ECHL)

I am excited to see some of those guys back on my hometown team.

:D The Bulldogs look really strong with the roster!! They are definitely going to be had to beat.

Some quick notes:

- Gorges won't be there, he would have to clear waivers (and he wouldn't).

- Rivers reportedly has not yet reported (read it in a few different spots), so he may not be around.

- As of yet, Desharnais is not signed with the Bulldogs (or anyone.)

- Missing Lemieux/Degon who both should stick with Hamilton, Jon Gleed is on an AHL deal as well, while Loic Lacasse is signed to the team as well, although he'll be demoted.

- Only 19 players can dress during the regular season, over the years, the Bulldogs have dressed only 11 forwards regularly.

I would be surprised that Urquhart would go to Cincy over Russell, even though the latter likely has more talent. This is a make or break year for Urquhart, the Habs need to see what he can really do, I would think he'd be given a lot of chances.

Thanks for the report!

- I think he feels he didn't get a fair chance with the big club and is pretty much disapointed to be seen as a career AHLer. I'd be is considering european offers.

As of yet, Desharnais is not signed with the Bulldogs (or anyone.)

- I thought he was on a PTO contract

Does any one know what is wrong with Biron? He did not play any preseason games with the HABS, so his injury must be rather serious.

Joel Bouchard should be considered by the Dogs.

He is way a better player than Biron, despite Biron is better offensively.

But since we are off with Biron and Rivers, Bouchard would be a perfect addition with

experience and all around play.

If not Bouillon would be a nice addition to the Dogs too...
