Neech
I just hope we don't draw Washington in the first round. Yeah we could beat them, but it would tough handling Ovechkin night after night and Huet would have a lot to prove.

Neech
There are about 7 other teams I would not want to play. If it is the Caps bring em on. Maybe Ottawa or the Rangers will finish in the bottom two, but probably not. Out of the other teams that could finish there, Washington looks like the most dangerous, probably with Buffalo next. Peter Puck
4 Games left. 98 points. Maximum attainable is still 106. On pace for 103.0 points. 3 more points needed to clinch the North-East Division. Even the most knowledgeable experts turn out to have underestimated the habs this year!!! johnnyhasbeen
My brain say 88-94 but my heart says 112. I will split the difference and put my money on 101. Thinking I should have gone with more heart, less brain. I know better than to trust that thing, it always lets me down.
Pierre the Great
I'm ecstatic that I was wrong but in reality this team through out the post lock out years was always this good. The Habs would just collapse in the second half. Not this year obviously but the Habs were always this good, they just never found a way to sustain it through a season. BTH
hehe I agree to an extent. I think that they could have been just about this good (a top team in the East) had they been able to sustain their success. But little changes have made this team a lot better even if the roster is nearly identical. I do think that the team has been ready for this breakout year for a season or two now, but it was delayed a couple of times due to different things. But there is no question that we are better than last year even if both teams are at their best.

On TV we had the impression that there were alot of Habs fans in attendance?
