Lines for tomorrow

by Mike Boone

If you go by the alignments at an early-afternoon practice in Verdun today, it's Saku Koivu centring Christopher Higgins and Mark Streit, Tomas Plekanec and Alex Kovalev reunited with Andrei Kostitsyn, Kyle Chipchura, Guillaume Latendresse and either Tom Kostopoulos or Michael Ryder and Bryan Smolinski between Mathieu Dandenault and Steve Bégin.

Detroit is not exactly the opponent we want to get off this slump  Tough it will be awesome for team confidence if they manage to pull off a win.

I can't say that I have high expectations for this game. BUT... I certainly expect better hockey than what we've seen in the last few games.

GO HABS GO!!!

Okay, let's get this right from the start,

1 No blocking the goalie. if you are watching, watch, and don't let anyone walk in front of the TV. (If you can't see the puck either can the goalie).

2 bathroom and kitchen breaks are for intermission and tv breaks only.

3 If we score keep your seat, if they score (highly unlikely if we all do our part) change seats.

4 Wear your lucky Jerseys

5 Make your tea or do your lady, what ever works for you

6 I will place "The Call"

Go Habs Go !! Let's turn this around and get back to winning games. We have the talent, speed and ghosts, they are octopussies, therefore we should win. Hmm just a though, we should draft a new Dick. The octopussies always got pounded when we had Dickie Moore, coincidence, I think not.

I'm not very optimistic about this game!

All i have left is a prayer to the hockey gods!

Hopefully Jacques, Doug, Boom-Boom, Howie and Maurice will answer my prayers!

I thought I'd relate the dream I had last night... we lost 11-1. :(

Fortunately, my dreams almost never come true. Let's hope that's the case this time!

look on the bright side. If we lose 11-1, by the transitive property, my coup d'etat of Candyland should go just as scheduled. ^_^

A vote of confidence? You all seem to have previous decades of statistics. When the good old Habs are in a slide it's always common for our boys to beat-up on the top teams and lose to the shit teams just to add to our frustrations.

Well, I don't think we need to worry about a loss until Dec 15th. I'm expecting a nice little run here which we need before the Christmas break.

Besides, young Carey Price is about to embark on his first little stint as our starter. It's actually kind of fitting, we can finally close the door on that dreadful night vs Detroit where Patrick Roy bailed on Montreal and his fans because of his ego.

Here is to a new beginning boys!!!!!!! and "BREAKING OLD SUPERSTITIONS!!!!!!!!!!"

"Carey Price with the shut-out tonight!"

Easy everyone. PLEASE NO HEAT! I know exactly what I did and I don't want to hear about it.
