Spider-Man NL
http://www.tsn.ca/nhl/feature/?fid=10460&hubname= The Latest from on the Canadiens Saku Koivu and Alex Kovalev skipped practice on Friday for a therapy day. Carey Price will start in goal again when Montreal hosts Carolina on Saturday. Forward Bryan Smolinski is day to day with a right knee injury, while winger Steve Begin is day to day with a left shoulder injury. That means Michael Ryder will return to the lineup after being a healthy scratch in Boston. Because Smolinski and Begin have not been placed on IR, the Canadiens remain at their 23-man limit and Mark Streit will likely move up to forward again to fill the vacant spot up front. - TSN

Easy Ryder
I know people are saying it all the time but great thread Spidey. So both Smolinski and Bégin are out. Knee and Shoulder. Bégin have been out with shoulder before, it's not a surprise with the dedication he plays, , warrior can rest, tons of heart, hoping Max and Kosto can take on the energy role. Smolinski too is a great opening for Max for a regular spot in the line up, Smolinski was given every chances and he blown everything, i will be a mouth mouth by saying i wish this injury ends his career. Ryder will be obviously back on the first line. All he could say was it's colder on the press gallery, obviously the guy doesn't give a damn. Is Brisebois really back in the line up ?? Against Carolina we need fast skates and sharp passes. If Brisebois and Bouillon play together...ouch...where's to love for Gorges?? And if Streit is playing with Chip and Lats, it will be very interesting. Can't wait to see that Go HAbs.
ShortHanded
I really hope Josh gets back in tonight. me too, and I hope it's Ryder or Lats who play on the first with Koivu and Higgins, NOT Streit. The guy's great, but let's give the first line some real fire power, even if it is slumping.

Redlight6O
You can pretty much expect one goal from Ryder, just to keep himself laying on the number one line, then go back into a slump again
BTH
You can pretty much expect one goal from Ryder, just to keep himself laying on the number one line, then go back into a slump again Yep, I expect a 3-1 loss, with the goal from Ryder. Ryder regains his spot on the first line but finishes the next 8 games with more failed toe-drag attempts than shots on goal before being demoted to the third line for a two period stint. Three cheers for optimism. Go Habs Go! :hlogo:
