Easy Ryder
(killing time before the puck drop tomorrow) Now that the lottery has been made and top ten list is very steady. Lots and lots of D and hopefully were already stacked there. After some years of US drafting, i have a feeling that prospects from Europe will be closely watched by the habs. Most Europeans talents have been overlooked in the last two years, mostly russians because of contract issues. But with the steady presence of habs scout at Kovalev camp last year and his success in Montreal this year along with Markov and the Kost brothers. The best chances to have a very talented player at the rank we will choose will be there. A lot like Detroit did. So if some Europeans habfans know more about under the radar prospects like Grachev, Gustaffson that we should look for to find out because some of the players will come in Quebec City for the world tournament. And a question like that is David Toews of Minnesota the brother of Jonathan?? Could be an interesting pick. Further in the draft there are players from LHJMQ that have been overlooked and there is a chance to grab another powerforward, Pistilli from Gatineau who is crushing everybody in the playoffs 6.2f 219lbs he is killing Patrick Roy Remparts right now. Corsi from Halifax would be a smart choice too for a late round. Both are 19 years old late bloomer.

JoeLassister
I remember the good ol' time of Theodore, Worrel, Martin Ménard and Pavel Rosa. Rosa was killing the league in 96-97 and leaded Hull to a Memorial Cup. http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Pavel_Rosa Pavel Rosa (June 7, 1977 in Most, Czech Republic) is a Czech professional ice hockey forward formerly of the Los Angeles Kings in the National Hockey League. Selected by Kings in the second round (#50 overall) 1995 NHL Entry Draft, Rosa has played 36 games for the Kings since the 1998-99 season. Rosa scored two goals in his first NHL game. During his junior career, he played with the Hull Olympiques and was one of the offensive leaders of a team that won the Memorial Cup in 1997. He has also played for the Manchester Monarchs and Fredericton Canadiens of the American Hockey League, Long Beach Ice Dogs of the International Hockey League, HPK and Jokerit of the Finnish Hockey League, HC Dynamo Moscow of the Russian hockey league and most recently Timrå IK of the Swedish Elitserien league.
