 good job on the list dlbalr , thanks...

BTW : Does anyone know the exact status of J.Ferland? I know he's a 2002 draftee , but he was 1-2 years older then most other CHL draftees at the time (He wasnt selected in the previous draft) , his QMJHL eligibility is now over...

So what happens now? Do we have to sign him by a certain date or else he becomes a UFA? Can he go back to the Q as an overager? ...

I probably know the answer , just forget what it is...

I believe the answer to that question is that he can play as an overager like Larriveé did this season. If his QMJHL team opts not to keep him as an overager (I believe they're allowed 3), the Habs would then have to sign him or let him rot for the year. (I'm not quite sure if they could loan him to another team or not, as he wouldn't be under contract)

I'm a big fan of Paetsch (WAS).

Any chance of grabbing him?

He isn't overly physical, but a future Neidermayer if we can grab him and train him.

Here's a link:

Yeah, I like Paetsch as well. Would consider him with the latter 2nd rounder and definitely with the 3rd round pick. With Markov/Hainsey/Paetsch on the same team, we could have an offensive defenseman on every line who can is responsible defensively.
