dlbalr
This came as a bit of a surprise to me, but he's leaving the organization according to hockeysfuture.com. Leaving the organization is Eric Landry, C. After being sent to Utah of the AHL this year on loan, Eric Landry will not return to the Canadiens organization. Landry will play in Switzerland next year, where he will join up with ex-Hab Andre Bashkirov. Click here for the full article It also talks about Milroy and Archer. huzer
Why would that surprise you? Any player that went to no-man's land (Utah) has pretty much no hope with the Habs. Landry is a minor leaguer, nothing more.
dlbalr
The main reason it surprised me is that he likely would have gotten good playing time in Hamilton next season, given our current lack of depth at C. (Higgins, Gratton, Plekanec (though he IS a left winger), then who?) It doesn't really bother me that he's gone, it just kind of kept me off guard.
