Haha, yeah, Vinny is (From what I've heard) probably the nicest guy in the league....he signs auto's till his hand turns blue, and loves the area (And that's reciprocated...He's definatly the most popular guy here).

Here's me in more acceptable attire...(Sorry about the smile...it's kinda akward to take a picture of yourself:eyes:

thanx! that's not a surprise for me that I'm the first swiss habsfan joining the HW forum! In switzerland, most of nhl-interessed people are leafs- or rangers-fan.:wall:

I've create a photo-website about my visits in Canada/USA including some pics of the bell centre! Check it out: http://www.nhlarenas.ch

PS: sorry about my english

Yeah, I have already saw that site! You're a really lucky man! You live in Europe but did what most of us in America never done, a trip to see NHL games in different cities. It was surely awesome trips. Nice pictures too. You're pretty lucky ! :)

Greetings all! I'm a longtime reader, and probably would have joined earlier had there been a season. Just want to mention that I like the attitude surrounding this board (especially after reading the sportsnet forum. If I have to read "crotch itch" one more time!) Anyways, I look forward to being a part of this site, especially when we start getting some real Canadiens news to discuss!

Go Habs Go!

Hi habsfan11, welcome to HW. Thanks for the compliment... :) ... The site has existed since October 2003. The forum has existed since Spring 2003.

We do have a few other german members on the forum....

http://habsworld.net/forum/member.php?acti...ro&member=henne

http://habsworld.net/forum/member.php?acti...ember=MarcAurel

http://habsworld.net/forum/member.php?acti...ber=Tom%20Durin

http://habsworld.net/forum/member.php?acti...o&member=mojtra

http://habsworld.net/forum/member.php?acti...x%60s%20Rangers

http://habsworld.net/forum/member.php?acti...=HabsfanGermany

And an Austrian (its close enough...)

http://habsworld.net/forum/member.php?acti...BS%20Fan%20Nr.1

Unfortunately not everybody adds themselves to the HW member map, if they did we'd know exactly how many Germans (and other nationalities) were present on the forums (some members probably do not really it exists).

hmm... the links screwed up in the post. Anyways the German member names were, Henne, MarcAurel, Tom Durin, Tex's Rangers, HabsfanGermany, and the Austrian HABS Fan Nr.1 ...

Very sorry if I have forgotten anyone.

I like the Avatar! Dryden was an incredible goalie and like all great Montreal Stanley Cup goalies he really did steal the show in the '70s. Welcome aboard looking forward to more posts.

I forgot he used to do that. Not like I was alive then but it's a nice pic. I never really liked him but if I had seen him play maybe I would've.
