BTH
I'm going to try to avoid quotes from obscure, oldschool, foreign films. Each of you should at least know of 8+ of these movies, and have probably seen most of them. You can not just go typing the quotes into google, it'll just ruin everything. Movie 1: Quote 1: "It rubs the lotion on its skin or else it gets the hose again."[/size] Movie 2: Quote 1: "You mean, let me understand this cause, ya know maybe it's me, I'm a little f*cked up maybe, but I'm funny how, I mean funny like I'm a clown, I amuse you? I make you laugh, I'm here to f*ckin' amuse you? What do you mean funny, funny how? How am I funny?" Movie 3: Quote 1: "I don't understand you people! I mean all these picky little points you keep bringing up. They don't mean nothing. You saw this kid just like I did. You're not gonna tell me you believe that phony story about losing the knife, and that business about being at the movies. Look, you know how these people lie! It's born in them! I mean what the heck? I don't have to tell you. They don't know what the truth is! And lemme tell you, they don't need any real big reason to kill someone, either! No sir!" Movie 4: Quote 1: Narrator: "A year passed: winter changed into spring, spring changed into summer, summer changed back into winter, and winter gave spring and summer a miss and went straight on into autumn... until one day..." Movie 5: Quote 1: "I like big fat men like you. When they fall they make more noise." Movie 6: Quote 1: "Everyone has somebody that they want to put out of the way. Oh now surely, Madam, you're not going to tell me that there hasn't been a time that you didn't want to dispose of someone. Your husband, for instance?" Movie 7: Quote 1: "I guess you think you're... you know, like an authority figure, with that stupid f*ckin' uniform, huh buddy? King clip-on-tie there, big f*ckin' man, huh? You know these are the limits of your life, man. The rule of your little f*ckin' gate here. Here's your four dollars, you pathetic piece of shit." Movie 8: Quote 1: "Make yourself comfortable, pull up a tombstone!" Movie 9: Quote 1: "You take the trouble to construct a civilization, to build a society based on the principles of... of principle. You make government and art and realize that they are, must be, both the same. You bring things to the saddest of all points, to the point where there is something to lose. Then, all at once, through all the music, through all the sensible sounds of men building, attempting, comes the Dies Irae. And what is it? What does the trumpet sound? Up yours." Movie 10: Quote 1: "This is blood for blood and by the gallon. These are the old days, the bad days, the all-or-nothing days. They're back! There's no choice left. And I'm ready for war." Quote 2: "I've been framed for murder and the cops are in on it. But the real enemy, the son of a bitch who killed the angel lying next to me, he's out there somewhere, out of sight, the big missing piece that'll give me the how and the why and a face and a name and a soul to send screaming into hell." EDIT: Only #8 and #10 remain. #10 is a movie you've all seen, the other one I don't know if anyone will get... Doktor Kosmos
I believe #4 is Monty Python: Holy Grail It's Monty Python, I'm sure of that. "MP & The Holy Grail" would be my guess too, but I'm not a hundred percent sure. #6 might be "Strangers on a train". #9 is Who's afraid of Virginia Woolf. BTH
Change the thread title http://forums.habsworld.net/index.php?showtopic=17798 lol - I meant the first good one.
