Athlétique.Canadien
Please get the win. If Florida loses and we get 1 point I think we make it on that stat alone" Hmmm? Montreal---------79 41 28 10 92 NY Rangers------79 40 30 9 89 Florida------------79 39 29 11 89 Buffalo------------79 38 32 9 85 If we get a point tonight we are at 93 points. If Florida losses tonight then the best they can get is 93 points and the best wins they can achieve is 41. That's the amount of wins we have now. Montreal beat Florida in the season series 3-1. Also, 93 points puts us out of possible reach for the Sabres. One point and a Florida loss is all it takes. Hopefully we can get the win and screw this waiting around to qualify stuff!!! Once again praise to Spidey GO HABS GO! :hlogo:

Another user, BTH, brought up that if we win tonight, we're in. We've been so busy worrying about Florida that we've ignored the fact that the Rangers have the same number of points as the Panthers. If we win tonight, the Rangers cannot pass us. A win tonight would give us 94 points. Even if the Rags get a point tonight and then win out, they'd have 94 points. Both teams would have 42 wins and Montreal will have won the season series. P.S. We're already out of reach of Buffalo, they max out at 91 points. BTH
Yeah, all we need is a win tonight to clinch it and scramble into the playoffs. If we lose tonight, we'll need at least one win in the next two and I wouldn't feel too secure about us doing that. This feels too much like two years ago when we lost our final two games to the Rangers and Leafs. But if we win, we can at least make it to the playoffs and possibly last long enough for Markov and Lang to come back (Schneider might already be coming back). Boston in Round 1 is do-able, just because they're Boston and we always beat Boston. Then, I think Markov and even Lang could be returning in Round 2 and that would give the team a huge boost... but that's thinking too far ahead. Fanpuck33
They say that desperate men do desperate things. With nowhere else to turn, we must turn to the one that hurt us the most: (I figured if Yvonne finally wore off last night, we ought to break out our last resort, just like Chuck. BTH
Who is that? If we were really desperate, we'd be turning to Chriqui.
lazy26
Great thread Spidey. It's simple... a win tonight and we clinch. That is all the boys need to be thinking about. They need to bring that desperation, because you know the the Rags will be doing so. Look for Avery to be at the height of his douchebaggery. I hope Andrei breaks out of his funk and contributes in a big way. I hope Price still has his mojo. GO HABS GO!!!! Who is that? If we were really desperate, we'd be turning to Chriqui. Jordana Brewster, Chuck's ex on the show.

Jean
Huge game is huge. I really don't expect a lot of goals in this game. I predict a 2-1 win for the Habs.
