6 pts in 3 games We must be getting close to a call up

And way up in the plus minus.

And the PP stinks in Mtl.

Darche is playing great hockey too. If Desharnais was not hurt i would in his bandwagon.

If we loose might as well have a local savor to it all.

When we see MA Bergeron up with the team, fans will quickly realize how bad he is, Biggest liability on Defence of any player in recent memory to suit for the habs, YES THATS correct!!!, why Oilers traded him, ( I live in Edmonton, and as Habs Fan) always thanked he wasnt in an Habs jersey.

he barely can skate backwards, turns the puck over all the time, gets beat to the outside....

Expensive pick up, just to play the PP...

So everyone, dont expect the positive, we are better off with the young players, or even Brisbois. In fact he will make Bribois look rock solid...

His nick name will soon be " Bye Bye Bergeron"

Seriously...It will take the team, time to go through this, after all these changes...Whether for better or worse will see...

Cheers

not to argue with you but in checking his stats he +3 over 339 games. doesn't seem too bad.

The rest of your quote I have no opinion on, as I haven't seen Bergeron play before.

But $750.000 for a PP specialist is expensive? It might be the best bargain in the NHL.

Good news. He'll be a big help on the PP. IMO, we would play for .500 if the PP had been average. I can't wait to see him blast his slap shot past the goalies.

Well right now our sucky PP is costing us wins. I'll take the defensive blunders, there's always another D or a goalie to correct them; but there's nobody getting the PP scoring us the goals we so badly need.

Yeah. I think we're close to bagging some W. Goals on the PP would make the difference. Therefore this should be a good move.

As for Bergeron's horrible defensive game - like Trizzak I haven't seen much of the guy; but he's been a regular on three different teams since 2005-06, including Lemaire's Minnesota Wild. This suggests that however one-dimensional he is, he brings some value. Give the dude a chance. Used properly, and given our present needs, he could help us disproportionately.

Worse case scenario, use Bergeron as a forward. Maybe he wont be as bad as Dago or Chipchura.

As mentioned, I saw this RERUN over and over again in Edmonton when Bergeron played with Oilers, and always was thankful he wasnt in an HABS jersey, He is a nightmare in the back, -2 today with only 10 minutes of ice time..

Where was our scouting in getting this information, Anyone in Edmonton could tell you, he is more of a liability..

thats 3 games with lost points where mistakes on defence kill us!!

We needed help on the PP and Bergeron was a cost-free option. On its own terms, the move made sense, still does.

If he's only on the second PP unit, I don't see the point. Then again, Cammalleri and Plekanec are on the second unit. Our second unit should probably be the first one.

Since, in general, the two units get equal time, one just has the first 60 seconds, I don't think there's any point in quibbling over designations.

Bergie is good on the PP, but he is not reliable at all in the D zone

He is not even good on the PP anymore.'

I would rather have PK any day.

Sure PK might not do as well as MAB right now but at least he can get better where as MAB can not what you see is what you get.
